I need to look deeper into this, but it looks like Guadalajara (one of the biggest cities in all of Mexico) is under siege. The reason, it looks like one of the big drug lords, "El Mencho", has been taken out and this is retaliation, but it's too soon to know exactly what's going on. I was there only a month ago, damn.

Thanks, you've given me place to start researching, because there are a few things that are not clear to me. Like when you mention "non monetary transactions" in a block. What does that exactly entail? Because from what I understood in your post, these transactions are keeping the UTXO spammers at bay by outbidding them. I know governments have access to the money printer, so I understand the theoretical point as to why this wouldn't stop them.
Also, some argue that spam is subjective, I personally don't think that's entirely the case, I think there are things that are clearly spam to the majority of people. But anyways, at least to a knots supporter, would your statement read to them as "spam is keeping UTXO spam at bay"?

I wouldn't trust a centralizing force in btc in general. You mentioned something that has me confused, isn't BIP110 a soft fork and therefore a tightening of the rules instead of a change? That's an argument I hear from the knots side.
What have your actions been up until now? I think you mentioned somewhere that you're running knots, correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers!

I only get more uncertain about what's going on as time goes by. I'm guessing this is how the block size wars must've felt, can't say I like it. Is being neutral an option though? Like running an older version of Core or simply Knots without BIP110? What are the tradeoffs of being neutral?

Building or being in a physical community is definitely one of the most important things bitcoiners can do to mitigate the likely new chaos that will arise with the new multipolar world order.
My question for @nprofile…dz72 is, if one is currently tied to North, Central or South America, but has the ability to move within these regions; where are the best places to be and build this community? Is it better to be within the borders of a dying empire (USA) or choose a country like El Salvador, Paraguay, Argentina, etc to live in? I say this due to Simon mentioning that the Military Industrial Complex will probably be setting it's eyes in Latin America, which sounds like death and destruction to me.

Wasn't that the feeling during the blocksize wars or after Mount Gox imploded? I wasn't in btc at that time, but reality looked OK after those events in hindsight. There will never be another btc, this is the only chance we have and it's not over yet, so I say we fight until the end.

I know my way around the Mexican system, but the American one seems like a whole different beast. Has anyone actually applied the things mentioned in this document to avoid paying taxes in the USA? Arguments are interesting but I did a quick AI fact check (AI is apparently programmed to not promote tax evasion, I used Venice ai and Maple) and it says this document is false and gives dangerous advice.
