Backdoored Bitcoin/Monero hardware wallets are much more of a threat than Quantum computing.
There is zero credible evidence that Quantum can be engineered to scale cheaply and reliably enough to be broadly useful, and yet most of the attention is focused on Quantum and not the very likely case that most of the main hardware wallets are backdoored.

If you spend some time doing objective research, you'll likely come to the conclusion that there is no neat solution that makes you "immune to the NSA". The best you can do is:
- Make mass, silent theft via one corporate/vended rail impossible,
- Force any serious adversary into messy, noisy, manual operations if they want you specifically.
The only real structural defense is collusion forcing:
- Heterogeneous multi-sig (different vendors + DIY),
- Multi-source entropy (XOR’d seeds),
- Passphrases kept off the compromised device,
- Independent stacks for different key shares.
A state-level actor can plausibly:
- backdoor RNG/nonces,
- exfil keys via signatures,
- coerce vendor into "minor tweaks",
- intercept shipping,
- or just use host+legal leverage.
There are very many attack vectors and in some places, you just have to trust as you can't verify.
Some of the attack vectors:
- Closed-source secure elements with opaque behavior.
- Compromised RNG -> predictable keys.
- Firmware "updates" that:
(a) leak shards,
(b) weaken PIN delays,
(c) selectively target flagged serials.
- Supply chain substitution:
(a) devices swapped in transit,
(b) chips with additional logic embedded.
If we assume Controller-grade adversaries and cooperation leverage over:
- silicon vendors,
- big wallet brands,
- customs/parcel systems,
then for mass-market users:
- "self-custody" often means: "I'm holding a compromised device that behaves like self-custody until it's politically useful to make it misbehave."
And of course, they don't need 100% coverage. If they can de-risk 80-90% of "self-custody" BTC/Monero via:
- hardware design,
- vendor pressure,
- update channels,
then most people hold just another pool of conditionally controllable assets.
Even if they never fully exploit it, the option exists.
If you think hardware wallets being compromised is a bit of a stretch, maybe look into Dual_EC_DRBG, operation Bullrun, Edgehill, the company Crypto AG, operation Rubicon, etc.

All you can do is try to save yourself and your loved ones. Most people will get rekt. That's just how it always goes.
Many of the people who are preparing are misguided as well.
At this point, I think we have to assume that most Bitcoin/Monero hardware wallets are backdoored.
Instead of focusing how we can ensure at least some of the main hardware wallets are not backdoored (which to my knowledge, we can't), we are focusing on how to migrate to government-selected post-quantum scam algorithms and whose coins to freeze.
Most people never learn.

The professor Jiang character is very interesting.
Graduated Yale university and used to work for the UN (aka the One World Government organization that sponsors child trafficking and genocide by vaccines).
He was suspected by the Chinese government of spying in 2002 and was deported 😂
Going viral organically doesn't really work in 2026. Platforms like Twitter, Youtube, TikTok, only promote content that pushes the official narrative (so plants and useful idiots).
After watching a few of his videos, I think it is very likely he is an intelligence asset (most likely CIA).
He could be a useful idiot but I find this less likely based on his takes.
It was much easier for intelligence agencies to control people's access to information pre-Covid.
Many more people used to watch mainstream media, but the CIA pushed the propaganda too far.
Once different networks started repeating the same script word for word, people stopped watching and lost trust.
The CIA knew they needed to keep control of the narrative, so they started pushing certain "independent media" personalities.
Tucker Carlson (CIA) got "fired" by Fox news (even though he had the highest ratings 😂) just because people stopped watching TV and the CIA needs him to reach more people.
In many cases, even when professor Jiang is likely correct about his conclusions, his argumentation is so flawed that he ends up pushing people away from the "conspiracy theory".
Watching some of his recent videos remind me of the recent podcast with Joe Rogan and Theo Von.
The whole podcast looked like a hostage video. Both completely compromised (especially Rogan) and terrified to not say something they shouldn't say.
Professor Jiang is a bit more subtle than these guys, but I still find it unlikely he's a useful idiot based on his interviews.
The "this is extremely dangerous to our democracy" moment is probably when the CIA knew they had to focus on pushing the "independent" media personalities.

Saylor had a failing company until he switched to a Bitcoin treasury. The only reason his model worked is because the banksters allowed it.
Adam Back has been on Epstein island and seems completely compromised.
Jack Mallers was calling out Epstein's banker and then proceeded to start a company with Epstein's neighbour.
Reading motives is hard unless you have all the information and I certainly don't.

Francis Hunt has theorized that Saylor, Jack Mallers (Howard Luttnick), Adam Backstein, and co have had the task of providing exit liquidity for the big boys (insider whales) for the last ~2 years.
It is a very interesting theory considering that with all the corporate stacking, we're back at 2021 price levels on Bitcoin.
There is no way to get to lever up the way Saylor, Mallers and co are doing unless the banksters allow you to.
We also kept hearing about how there was no retail interest during the last bull market.
Of course, there was retail interest, but the interest was mostly amongst retail plebs whereas retail whales were looking for the exit.
Businesses in the chart below are mostly treasury companies, and individuals are mostly retail whales.
Do these whales who bought way cheaper have insider information in terms of what governments are cooking?

Her heart is at the right place, but she is so brainwashed, it's hard to listen to.
(1) Somehow she noticed that when the covid plandemic started hospitals were empty while the media was reporting they were overrun.
Proceeds to say they noticed the same patterns they noticed during the regular flu season.

(2) She then noticed that hospitals were paid handsomely to "treat" (poison) patients using Remdesivir.
(3) Hospitals had never seen patients so inflamed, so she assumes patients were inflamed because of covid and not because of poisoning them with vaccines and Remdesivir 😂
(4) She then says that hospitals were not allowed to treat the inflammation with steroids even though these steroids were shown to be effective.
She wants to treat the symptom of poisoning her patients with Remdesivir by administering steroids (another big pharma poisonous concoction)
(5) She then noticed that after they injected their patients with the covid shots, hospitals actually got overrun. So they finally managed to fill the hospitals by poisoning people with the covid jab.
Her manager told her "Gale, this hospital has had 3 times more admissions than we have ever had since the hospital opened the doors. A 300% increase in hospitalizations directly associated to the onset of the covid shots."

When I first figured out that viruses don't exist and vaccines are used to depopulate, I wanted to tell everyone and their mother.
Some people are open-minded and want to objectively investigate the evidence for themselves. Them you can try and help.

I am of the opinion that the Controllers can prolong the fiat ponzi for much longer than most think, but will eventually decide to rug.
Why? Because all fiat currencies eventually fail, and the Controllers will definitely decide to fail the current financial system in a carefully preplanned fashion to avoid excess chaos.

If markets were efficient, bond yields would be in the double digits (and then most would realize that with current debt levels this is game over).
However, markets are efficient to constraints.
Most of the bond holders in the system are captive - meaning they are aware that it is a mathematical certainty they will get robbed if they buy bonds, but they are forced to.
So bond yields are fake and managed, just like the prices of most, if not all, assets.
Yield Curve Control (YCC) = Central Bank commits to cap yields on some part of the curve (say 10Y at 4.25%). If yields try to rise above the cap, Central Bank buys bonds in unlimited size to enforce the level.
It's a way to say:
"Beyond this point, the bond market no longer gets to vote on our fiscal/monetary mix."
Yield Curve Control is the bridge that lets the Controllers carry an insane nominal debt pile through inflation surges, regime shifts, and crises, without allowing yields to reflexively spike and force default.
With YCC, the curve is no longer a sensor; it's a policy-controlled output.
You often hear about explicit YCC (Japan style), but the whole fake fiat system is designed around implicit YCC.
The logical question is:
- "Who are these rich retards who keep buying bonds and keep getting robbed just so they can fund their own enslavement?"
Most people/companies who have lots of money usually know that owning bonds is a losing proposition, so you have to force them to buy your useless paper.
States design the rules so that banks, insurers, pensions, and autopilot funds end up long bonds, and then bonds get expropriated in real terms.
This is the path of least resistance.
Retail with direct bonds is rounding error.
So the bondholders are the institutional skeleton that anchors the regime: states, banks, pensions, insurers, big funds, and foreign sovereigns.
Why them?
Because they are controllable, slow, diffuse, and essential. They can't easily run, can't easily revolt, and can be quietly sheared to fund whatever comes next (AI governance).

- What would have to happen for a few dozen people to enslave a few billion people?
A very compressed TL;DR
The hardest truth is that a few dozen people do not enslave billions by being superhuman.
They do it by sitting above systems that most people cannot see, cannot exit, and cannot coordinate against.
The public usually imagines slavery as maximal visible brutality.
But the more durable form is:
- administratively soft,
- technologically deep,
- financially integrated,
- morally justified,
- narratively fragmented,
- and psychologically internalized.
In that form, many slaves call themselves free because they can still choose entertainment, careers, identities, purchases, opinions, and aesthetic tribes inside the cage.
That is the real danger.
So, for a few dozen people to effectively enslave a few billion people, they would need:
- monopoly on force as backstop,
- dominance over money and payments,
- universal identity and legibility,
- integrated surveillance and behavioral telemetry,
- control over media, prestige, and the language of legitimacy,
- the ability to punish through exclusion rather than visible violence,
- destruction of horizontal trust and local autonomy,
- a dependent "middle class", not a starving mass,
- fusion of state, corporate, legal, media, and financial power,
- a population fragmented into isolated individuals and reactive tribes,
- permanent crisis to justify centralization,
- and a permissioned lifeworld where survival, mobility, work, savings, and speech all depend on system-compatible access.
That is how a few dozen could rule billions.
Not by owning every mind.
By owning the rails that decide what happens to people who do not comply.

Listened to the Tucker Carlson interview with James (Jim) Webb, the 3rd generation Marine "war hero" who served the Controllers and further enslaved his descendants.

UBI is a bit different in terms of:
1. Universality

Most workers could become obsolete over a relatively short period of time (years, not decades) due to AI and robotics.

I think it's very unlikely for Bitcoin held in self-custody (properly) to end up being a rugpull because the government would much rather you own Bitcoin than physical gold or something like Monero.
Based on my research, in 99% of cases, the government would prefer you own Bitcoin than physical gold.
The other 1% of cases are mostly people who move 8-9-10 figures in Bitcoin to finance groups the government doesn't like (very rare).
So I don't think governments wan to rug Bitcoin, but that doesn't mean they execute everything perfectly and don't overshoot.
One area where they might overshoot is the Quantum scam ( https://controlplanecapital.com/p/a-quantum-resistance-upgrade-would ).
At present, nearly 90% of stocks are held by the top 10% of society, and that same 10% of society performs nearly 50% of all consumer spending.
So wealth is very concentrated (mostly amongst boomers as you said).
For them to run the Great Taking, they don't actually need to rug most of the population.
As you said, younger cohorts are still on average much more dangerous than older ones - which is why you build the control rails (Palantir/MSFT/ID/CBDC), and send some of them to die in senseless wars.
It's going to be tough to get young people to organize if 1/5th of the people in their country were imported in the last 10 years (mass migration).
Running the Great Taking is still very risky.

It is possible that some governments are accumulating BTC behind the scenes, although I haven't seen any credible evidence.
I like to read revealed preference - you prefer X over Y if, when offered both, you choose X. So far in my view, revealed preference points to gold.

A medium-of-exchange that isn't private by default would never work in today's regime.
If you treat privacy as "expert mode", you guarantee surveillance wins by default.
You need privacy & fungibility by construction, not by habit.

The next few years are probably going to be very messy for Bitcoin and Monero.
The Quantum computing scam is easily the most telegraphed attack.
I am not a believer in Quantum, but I think it will be largely irrelevant whether Quantum can be engineered to scale cheaply and reliably enough to be broadly useful because the incentives line up almost too perfectly (More context: https://controlplanecapital.com/p/a-quantum-resistance-upgrade-would ).
The BIS (the central bank of central banks that is developing CBDCs with 137 countries) has published quite a few papers on how important "quantum-proofing payment systems" is.
I already knew Quantum FUD was inevitable when I saw that CBDCs are being designed with post-quantum cryptography to "defend against future threats". Notice that existing systems rely on "vulnerable public-key encryption".

In July 2025, the BIS published their "Quantum-readiness for financial system: a roadmap paper".
The first few sentences of the Abstract are quite clear: "Quantum computers may in the future break today's widely used encryption. Then in December, the BIS published their "Project Leap phase 2: quantum-proofing payment systems" paper.

The whole thing where the EU froze Russia's reserves makes 0 sense and is very similar to October 7th.
Russia left roughly 200-300B euro parked at Euroclear in Belgium and attacked Ukraine.
So they left ~70% of their reserves in Europe absolutely knowing their reserves would get frozen.
It is literally written into law that Euroclear holds the true title; retail and funds (Russia in this case) hold entitlements.
Everything is in street name, no bearer certs, no simple "I have the certificate, I own the thing".
This is a relatively recent development and is the law in every country in the world, including Russia.
The actual odds of them leaving their reserves parked at Euroclear and attacking Ukraine are ~0.
The obvious alternative explanation would be that they wanted to get their assets frozen to push the "deglobalization" narrative, to normalize the Great Taking, and to give an excuse for ~all Central Banks to simultaneously start stacking gold because the "dollar has been weaponized".
The EU froze Russia's reserves in February 2022.

I am from Europe. I don't have a 401K, so take with a grain of salt and verify.
401K is inside the sacrificial layer for a Great Taking, so you can't make it "safe", you can only:
- limit how much of your life you leave in that bucket,
- change what kind of claim you hold inside it, and
- use every legal leak (loans, rollovers, withdrawals) to migrate value off-system over time.
So the restrategizing beyond "just take the match" is mostly about sizing, mix and exit channels, not asset choice that turns your 401K into physical gold somehow.
You cannot turn a 401K into expropriation-resistant physical. "Gold IRA" etc. just re-route you to another custodian inside the same legal perimeter.
In a Great Taking event, the Controllers want to:
- Keep "pensions and retirement" visibly alive (low Gross Consent Product constraint),
- While using that pool to absorb systemic losses and lock people into the new regime (forced conversion).
So the 401K bucket is extremely unlikely to be spared; the reasonable expectation is partial confiscation / conversion, not zeroing.
- "We're protecting your retirement with safe new government stability bonds / CBDC accounts" while quietly imposing a big real haircut.
Given that, the question becomes:
- How much of your life do you want inside that mechanism?
Employer match = almost pure arbitrage
- A typical US setup is "100% match on first X% of salary", etc.
- Under almost any regime, including Great Taking, that's (1) instant, risk-free uplift on your contribution, (2) highly likely to partially survive even in a bail-in, because retirement optics are sacred and legitimacy cost of fully rug-pulling matches is huge.
Taking the full employer match is still rational. That's the "least bad" use of the 401K rail.
Above the match: treat as "captive, haircut-prone annuity".
Above the match you're trading:
- Tax advantage now vs
- Being locked inside a privileged expropriation target later.
So:
- Always take the full match.
- Be very skeptical about large contributions above the match, unless you're deliberately using the 401K as a future state-managed annuity, and you're comfortable that your real SoV lives outside (physical gold, self-custody Monero, BTC, real assets).
A lot of people will still choose to max 401K for tax/accounting reasons. I'd cap 401K contributions at the match (or modestly above),
and push incremental savings into off-system SoV instead.
There are some legal ways to leak value out over time. You'd want a gradual "escape plan" for 401K money as you age and rules allow.
E.g. early, penalty-free withdrawal windows (55+)
US rule of 55:
- If you leave the employer in or after the year you turn 55 (age 50 for certain public safety roles),
- You can withdraw from that 401K without the 10% early penalty (still taxed as income).
This is an early exit hatch to pull some value out, accept tax hit, reallocate into off-system SoV before a possible systemic Taking.
All in all, position 401K as state-managed annuity in your personal stack, not your core SoV.
- Core SoV = physical gold, self-custody Monero, BTC, assets outside the most capture-prone custody rails.
- 401K = "I'll probably get something from this after they're done patching the system, but I'm not betting the house on it."

In the 2000s China was integrated tightly and the eurodollar bloomed.
China became dollar shock absorber & reserve sink.
Offshoring + overcapacity = disinflation buffer → more room for USD debt growth.

Once you can synthetically manufacture the supply, the asset is no longer scarce and once scarcity is gone, price becomes a derivatives game, not a supply-and-demand market.
This is exactly what has happened to Bitcoin.
This is the same structural break that occurred in gold, silver, oil, and eventually equities once they became derivatives-dominated.
The original premise that no longer exists
Bitcoin’s entire valuation logic was built on finite supply (21M) and inability to be rehypothecated.
That died the moment:

•Perpetual swaps
•Options
•ETFs
•Prime broker lending
•Wrapped BTC
•Total return swaps
were layered on top of the chain.
From that moment forward:
Bitcoin supply became theoretically infinite.
Not on-chain in price discovery.

The same 1 BTC can now support:
•An ETF unit
•A futures contract
•A perpetual swap

All at once.
That is six claims on one coin.
That is not a market.
That is a fractional reserve price system.

Tether is basically the government, so they do what they're told.
If they were told to stack gold, it indicates that the Controllers want to direct capital away from Bitcoin and toward gold right now.
Central banks + Tether + various sovereigns = strong revealed preference.
The other buyer in size of BTC (MSTR) also got disciplined very heavily (from margin increases to unrealized capital gains tax fud to index removal fud, to S&P 500 rejection, etc.) at a time when MSTR had an mNAV of about 2 (meaning they could issue shares to stack lots of Bitcoin in an accretive way).
So they basically implicitly told institutions: "stay away from Bitcoin, buy gold".
Bitcoin's current value proposition is a store of value with regulatory overhang and a Great Taking hedge.
Unless Bitcoin is private by default (no special mode), I don't see a scenario in which Bitcoin's value proposition becomes mass, non-custodial Medium-of-Exchange.
Which basically means that we have to hope that the Controllers allow for Bitcoin to go up in fiat terms and remains a store-of-value, so that they don't alienate the masses into Monero, physical alternatives, etc.
So far it hasn't worked in the post-ETF era and I have a feeling that we have a wave of Quantum FUD on the horizon, but what can you do.
If you get this cucked, you kinda have to wait for your turn or take a stand and there are too many simultaneous attacks for the community to coordinate a coherent response (coordination tax).
When governments capture "error assets" such as Bitcoin, they use the "Honeymoon → Normalization → Harvest" playbook because the plebs always fall for it.
New financial tech follows the same arc: big sweeteners at launch, normalization once everyone is on board, and then the quiet fee/tax/regulation harvest.
In other words, you pay people with higher fiat prieces whilst you paperize and capture so that they associate regulation with "winning".
The incentives flip as soon as enough users are corralled.
Bitcoin's honeymoon phase was very short (mostly pre-ETF) which indicates to me that they already know they have us by the balls, so they didn't have to pull out the big sweeteners.
The deeper into the Paperization game Bitcoin gets, the more they'll fuck with us.
Most Bitcoiners still don't understand that the 21M cap doesn't mean much if most people don't self custody.
The protocol can cap issuance at 21,000,000 BTC.
Markets can create claims on far more than 21,000,000 BTC.
Bitcoin's 21M cap is a protocol invariant, not a shield against synthetic supply created by ETFs, funds, wrappers, futures, structured notes, and rehypothecation.

The Bitcoin or Gold psyop is silly and the debaters on both sides are usually clueless.
Why wouldn't you own both Bitcoin and Gold? They are both assets outside the system and have different advantages/disadvantages.
To mention some of gold's advantages (because everyone here already knows about Bitcoin's advantages):
(1) Physical gold has no public ledger.
- No historical chain of custody anchored in a global database.
- Evidence of holdings is fragmentary: vault records, invoices, eyewitnesses, maybe customs records.
- Outside that, the state has suspicion, not a cryptographic audit trail.
- The "omniscient ledger" simply doesn’t exist.
(2) Harder to geofence at scale from a screen.
- Once it is in your physical possession, there is no equivalent "app store ban" or "node-liability" lever that instantly makes it unusable for most people.
(3) Gold has no "core devs", no client politics, no mempool policy.
- "Protocol" = physics, metallurgy, and a scale.
- There is no equivalent of a small GitHub group with agenda-setting power.
- There is no "v30" for gold. No client upgrade that suddenly increases storage risk by 1200x.
- Coordination burden is basically zero at the "how it works" layer.
(4) No need to defend a node/mempool ecosystem.
- No nodes.
- No mempool.
- No UTXO set to bloat.
- You don't need an army of volunteer maintainers to keep "gold full nodes" defensible.
- Less coordination tax, fewer sociotechnical attack surfaces.
(5) Gold expropriation requires physical enforcement, not just data + policy.
There is no universal gold UTXO set or "travel rule".
Expropriation requires either:
- Knowing where the gold is (vault, safe deposit box, storage facility).
- Or house-by-house enforcement with massive manpower/legitimacy cost.
In practice, enforcement tends to focus on:
- Formal channels (vaults, dealers, banks).
- Border crossings.
- Declarations above thresholds.
@nprofile…4l07 also opened my eyes to some very significant issues regarding Bitcoin hardware wallets.
TL;DR - I'd imagine the government has access to the vast majority of seed phrases.
From what I've researched, getting this risk to zero is extremely hard (if not impossible). It can be minimized with multi-sig, heterogeneous devices instead of trusting any single black box.
Just one of the many issues are "secure" elements in which many wallets store the seed phrase.
A secure element (SE) is:
- Closed-source silicon + firmware
- Designed and signed off by a tiny number of entities
- Certified by processes you don't control (Common Criteria, labs, NDAs)
- Distributed at scale into "secure" devices (wallets, phones, SIMs, payment cards)
Secure elements are perfect for creating choke points where keys & identity cluster:
- Centralized design
- Long lifetimes
- Hard to inspect physically
- Wrapped in "security" narrative
So if you assume a serious state-level adversary wants that lever and can get it sometimes, the right prior is:
- "Treat any closed-source Secure Element as potentially backdoored if you're defending against a nation-state"
That's not the same as "we know for a fact every Secure Element is backdoored". We don't. Lacking verifiable proof is exactly what makes this such an asymmetric control point.
Dice-based seeds fix RNG trust, not key exfiltration. If a device ever sees the full seed, a malicious Secure Element/firmware can leak it later.
The only real structural defense is collusion forcing:
- Heterogeneous multi-sig (different vendors + DIY),
- Multi-source entropy (XOR’d seeds),
- Passphrases kept off the compromised device,
- Independent stacks for different key shares.
There is no neat solution that makes you "immune to NSA". The best you can do is:
- Make mass, silent theft via one corporate/vended rail impossible,
- Force any serious adversary into messy, noisy, manual operations if they want you specifically.
A state-level actor can plausibly:
- backdoor RNG/nonces,
- exfil keys via signatures,
- coerce vendor into "minor tweaks",
- intercept shipping,
- or just use host+legal leverage.
(6) Gold doesn't need electricity, internet, DNS, app stores, or routers.
- You can transact in a blackout.
- You can pay a smuggler without any digital evidence.
- You don't care about packet filtering or "crypto port" throttling.
There are many more examples of where Gold has an advantage over Bitcoin.
And of course, Bitcoin has many advantages over gold (teleportability, shock convexity in a specific Great Taking scenario, programmability for complex, conditional arrangements, granularity in price discovery, verifiability, etc.).
That's the point, gold vs bitcoin is a stupid debate.
BTC sovereignty is mathematically elegant but socially expensive and perimeter-fragile.
Gold sovereignty is technologically dumb but perimeter-resilient and legally fuzzier.
Both are useful, but for different failure modes of the system.
The same exercise can be repeated for Bitcoin and Monero. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Yes, his book is a free PDF on his website.
The main point is not "they rug everything tomorrow", the main point is: "they've put this into law in every country in the world".
Why would they do that? 😂
It can either be as a fallback for when they lose control over the financial system, or as a deliberate rug mechanism used to install the next financial system.

If you're a rational person and see the central bank of central banks publishing documents intended to coordinate ALL central banks on how to rob everyone, you probably hedge a little 😂

I recently had to increase my odds of a Great Taking (mass expropriation) event happening in the near future.
One of the reasons is that consent has been massively deteriorating (which is mostly a good thing) and I think they'll use a Great Taking type event to usher in the CBDC + Digital ID era.
More and more people understand how the game is played and you can see Central Banks becoming more and more cornered and hiring more "credible" actors.
It's like when one of these scammers on the street (with the cups) gets exposed, they can't run the same scam in front of the same people anymore.
If the Controllers rob everyone in an artificial financial system collapse, a massive cyber attack, or w/e mass crisis they pick, people won't have much of a choice but to accept their CBDC + Digital ID.
This guy is the founder of Interactive Brokers and basically explains how most people lose everything in a Great Taking.
I remember watching this clip a few years ago and I went to check the comments and I didn't find anyone who even reacted to what he said. Blows my fucking mind 😂. This is the owner of Interactive Brokers (almost a trillion USD under management).

To give you 1 more data point: Using Federal Reserve distribution data summarized by multiple outlets:
- The top 1% by wealth hold roughly 40–45% of all U.S. corporate equities and mutual fund shares.
- The top 10% hold something like 80–90%+ of all equities; one analysis of Fed data has top 10% at ~90%+ of stock and mutual-fund wealth, bottom 50% at ~1%.
You don't have to rug very many people to actually execute the "Great Reset".
It can easily be sold as: "protecting the many from the excesses of the few".
Of course, the few will quietly be robbed via inflation, forced conversions, and taxes.
You probably have noticed the push toward socialism especially with this Mandani actor (redistributing wealth from the rich to the poor to reduce "inequality").

Politics is completely fake and the easiest way to figure out that someone is mentally disabled is when they say they are a republican or a democrat.
The republicrats and the demopublicans are equally bad and equally fake.
The people you see on TV are actors. They are not the ones making the important decisions.

And because this is a midterm year in the US, you often hear: "Trump has to juice markets to win the midterm elections."

In fact, Trump wants to lose House seats.
In midterm years, historically, the president's party usually loses House seats and often loses control of at least one chamber.
And this is useful to the system (the bosses of these actors) for multiple reasons, but I'll give you the main one.
It is a blame machine & excuse generator.
If the president's party keeps a big majority:
- They "own" everything.
- They have no one to blame when they don't deliver what the base wants (and what they've promised).
- The gap between promises vs outcomes becomes too obvious. Even the biggest dummies eventually figure out that the game is rigged.
When they lose seats and often lose one chamber:
They can say:
- "We wanted to do X, but the other side blocked us."
- "We're constrained by a divided Congress."
The opposition gets partial ownership of austerity, rate hikes, and "discipline".
So the regime gets:
- A durable excuse for why deep structural things never change.
- A way to redirect anger horizontally (left vs right) instead of vertically (people vs system).
Midterm losses create narrative cover.
It's all fake.

One thing that has been disappointing is watching how Bitcoiners react to endorsements from demons such as Larry Fink, Kevin Warsh, Howard Lutnick, Donald Trump, Scott Bessent, etc.
When Kevin Warsh says "Bitcoin does not make me nervous", and that Bitcoin is not a replacement for the dollar, he really means: "Bitcoin is completely captured" and he is correct.
Would Kevin Warsh and Scott Bessent say stuff like that if Bitcoin had stealth receive addresses (no address reuse) and sender-receiver coinjoin by default, and if small Bitcoin communities started popping up everywhere and abandoned the dollar?
Privacy as a default (no special mode) lowers legal/UX risk for small commerce and defeats trivial chain surveillance that scares merchants. Privacy must be boring and automatic.
We see clips of Bitcoiners begging Trump for tax exemption on small payments and the only way we're going to get a tax exemption is by strengthening privacy.
Even if they allow for de-minimis tax, it will only be through their captured, full KYC custodians like Square.
You probably won't see these demons endorse Monero.
And to understand what I mean, you have to look at the Amish who mostly live outside the system.
They sell/trade raw milk, honey, meat, fruits, vegetables without pesticides and antibiotics and federal agencies constantly fuck with them "for your safety" (especially the ones who manage to scale).
The solutions won't come from the system, the only viable solution is for people to coordinate and stop playing a game they can never win.
Are we going to be the retards who HODL themselves into the upcoming AI governance, digital ID, CBDC era from which there is no return for the masses? It certainly looks that way.

I think that's a given unless you are able to spend the tainted UTXOs directly for goods/services (then it could get arbitraged).
If you wanted to push everyone into paper Bitcoin ETFs (which they do), you'd make this extremely annoying for people (frozen coins, more taxes, etc.).
Everyone who lives in the EU and has had their Bitcoin frozen due to the "travel rule" or any other bullshit reason knows what I'm talking about.
Sadly, in the current regime 1 BTC is not equal to 1 BTC in some cases. You have "compliant BTC" and "non-compliant BTC". This will only get worse.

My post doesn't argue that Quantum is a threat to Bitcoin, it argues that it is largely irrelevant whether Quantum can be engineered to scale cheaply and reliably enough to be broadly useful because the incentives for Quantum FUD line up almost too perfectly.
If they have a 100+ page whitepaper coming, then this changes everything and Google, Microsoft, IBM, xAI, DARPA and the other government agencies will have to pack it up.
Either way, I'm happy to be wrong on this. Time will tell.

I haven't been paying attention to all the "Quantum breakthroughs" government puppets have been posting on X.
Just read a few posts from Elon Musk, Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella and other government officials, and at this point I'm pretty sure they are going to use quantum to fud the fuck out of Bitcoin and get infinite budgets for the upcoming AI governance regime.
The question at this point is "when?", not "if?".
And of course, quantum doesn't even have to be viable for them to scam their way into infinite AI governance money for your safety.

I find the odds of them pulling the quantum card during the next bull market very high. This would be short-term bearish for Bitcoin (and probably everything else, except for gold, silver, etc).
Hopefully it isn't mid-term bearish for Bitcoin while other assets (e.g. state-embedded equities) recover quicker. That would suck.
