The Dirt on My Hands vs. The Keys on Your Board
While you sit in your air-conditioned room, sipping a clean coffee and debating game theory on your pristine mechanical keyboard, this is what the ground game actually looks like.
I don't have the luxury of hiding behind a cartoon avatar. My face is known. My name is on the line.
I stand in the baking Kenyan sun on the side of the Kinyatta-Kyasioni road, smelling the dry red dirt of Machakos and the cheap paint fumes from a bucket I bought with my own meager funds. I am literally reclaiming weathered roadside steel to paint orange 'B's, telling my neighbors that there is an escape from the inflation eating their sweat.
I am painting the future over the past, right where the people walking home can see it.

Look at the paint splatters on my shoes. Look at the dry grass on the side of this dirt road. Look at the actual work being done while you scroll.
If your support is selective, just say that. If you only care about "builders" who look like you or talk like you, own it. But do not sit there and pretend this work isn't happening.

I went to the beach on the Fourth of July. I actually tried going to two other beaches first, but one had no parking and the other required a parking fee, which just didn't feel worth it. As a last-ditch effort, I thought, "Let me try Freedom Beach real quick before heading home." Sure enough, it was exactly what I was looking for.
I hadn't been there in quite some time, and the shoreline had changed quite a bit since my last visit. It was a beautiful day, and you could walk surprisingly far out into the water before it reached your neck. I also found dozens of hermit crabs and conch shells scattered along the shallows, which is actually pretty uncommon around these beaches.
