Every time I suggest that people should have kids, some people on this app get mad at me.
But it doesn’t bother me, because maybe one person who wasn’t planning on having children sees it and wonders, “Why is Hodl so insistent that children are the meaning of life?”
And maybe that question plants a seed. If it eventually leads them to have kids, then the world gains another awesome little Bitcoiner.
and that’s worth it.

Sometimes conflicting wallets can cause issues.
It’s usually best to just stick with one provider, Alby, Primal, CoinOs, etc.
For some reason having multiple can cause issues with NWC.
That’s as far as I know.

Steeds meer kinderen maken zich zorgen over oudere journalisten die helemaal geobsedeerd zijn door de manosphere, zo blijkt uit onderzoek onder jongeren. Wetenschappers aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam ontdekten dat zes op de tien kinderen onder de 14 jaar het “zorgelijk” vindt dat veel journalisten compleet in de ban lijken te zijn van het gedachtegoed van bijvoorbeeld Andrew Tate.
“Veel kinderen vinden die manosphere eng, maar vrezen ook voor de mentale gezondheid van oudere journalisten die zich nu al maandenlang onderdompelen in die denkbeelden van al die mannen op sociale media”, zegt hoofdonderzoeker Katrina Frekselius (UvA). “Er zijn schrijnende gevallen bekend van journalisten die al vier keer de serie Adolescence in z’n geheel hebben gekeken en nu al voor de zesde keer dit jaar een longread schrijven over het gevaar van de manosphere. Dat gaat je niet in de koude kleren zitten.”
De onderzoekers benadrukken dat het vooral heel belangrijk is om in gesprek te blijven met journalisten van een zekere leeftijd die al maandenlang op TikTok met vierkante ogen gebiologeerd naar manosphere-influencers staren. “Laat ze af en toe even de telefoon wegleggen en naar buiten lopen. Zeg dat het ook oké is om af ten toe over iets anders te schrijven. Ze mogen soms best even wat gas terugnemen, er komen al genoeg zorgwekkende rapporten uit – bijvoorbeeld van de Waag – over de manosphere.”
