Thanks for sharing Mullvad’s stance on the issue. I actually agree a lot on this with Mullvad.
I really like, how their organisation carefully chooses in which battles to participate. And simply decide to participate only in whatever is touching the idea of private and free exchange of information without interference.
Actually so often I would dream more people would have such a focus. It gives them the ability to use their limited resources on what matters the most to them.
People and organisations that react onleverything are wasting a lot of energy.

Plus you can just run invalidateblock. And you can write a script wrapper to do it for you based on a custom lockfile or based on the most recent consensus activation height, if you want to hotswap clients for some dumb reason.

Definitly it helped building so many meaningful relationships. To me it seems like this man doas not have a lot of experience with alcohol.
Probably most people have experienced lower treshhold to interact with other people while drunk.
There are even studies showing, that people who drink have more friends. I got to know my wife while drinking, without having a common language.
Alcohol is kind of a social superglue. Clearly when used in high volume it likely opens the gates to violence as well.

That's tragic. He did it to himself. I say what's next is he should learn philosophy and reflect on why life is precious. Dude should have learned early on how to deal with hardships. He still can. That's fucked up stuff man.
Maybe it can be done through Nostr. But Nostr is super niche and we deal with thousands customers, not sure how many of them use Nostr. If it is 1% it is a lot.
I don't see email login as a big issue since you can use aliases etc. No personal information needed.
If it comes to privacy the payment method is much more important. We prefer Monero for that reason. Best for us and customers.
And with Nostr you have an identity as well, so it is similar to an email - identity wise.

You will notice that it is just an IPv4 address, but that it is using https. Also behind the scenes this IPv4 address is approved by a certificate authority.
What this means is that when your browser goes to this site it should open the site without any warnings.
This wasn't something that was always easy to do in a way that the typical browser will like.
When you rent or put a computer online you get an IP address, and you can put up http://15.235.3.231 right away. It will work, but the typical browser will throw a hissy-fit and scare off 90% of the normies out there. Also having encryption on your connections is a nice thing to have.
Well the Electronic Frontier Foundation has just recently made it much easier to have a website with a certificate for an IPv4 or IPv6 address. If you're interested in more detail, here is a good place to start:

My personal goal is to try to be as sovereign as possible. While using IPv4 and IPv6 is not as sovereign as using TOR or FIPS, it is a great intermidate step. Not only do you not have to get permission to rent a domain name, the site ends up being faster and more private because the user doesn't have to access the DNS system in order to access your site.
It would be nice to see many more relays on nostr using wss with an IP address. It is a great use case, without much hassle.

Cannibalization wearing a tuxedo. Agentforce math only works if each conversation replaces something that cost more. When it mostly replaces nothing, it's headcount reduction with a branding budget.
Missing item eight: which AI runs locally vs. which sends data to someone else's server. That distinction matters more than all seven combined.
