For some more context and encouragement for you all:
This business using #Square already had Bitcoin acceptance available in their payment processing software. When they got to the screen to select what form of payment the customer was going to use, they just asked "cash or card?" even though #Bitcoin showed as an available option, because they had no idea how the Bitcoin option worked, and they just assumed no one really would want to use that.
Additionally, their business did not show up on CashApp's map of Square merchants that accept Bitcoin, even though that payment method was automatically turned on for them, because being added to the map is still opt-in only. So don't assume a merchant that uses Square can't accept Bitcoin just because they aren't on the map.
If you notice the business is using Square, ask if you can pay in Bitcoin every time.
If they express that they aren't sure how that works, or that they don't want Bitcoin, let them know it is even easier and cheaper than accepting a debit card, and they will receive USD automatically.
If you are able to complete the transaction using Bitcoin, ask them if you can add their business to @nprofile…h3zv.

No matter where they are in this spectrum, still to me they are just people with their weaknesses, expressing whatever relevant garbage they accumulated in their psyche; just like anyone, they had or had no chance or intention to outgrow these weaknesses. Managed services nearly always beat self hosted services for the average user. Dropbox beat the home NAS. Gmail beat the mail server. Most people trade control for not having to think about it, and Google knows this. Spark asks for nothing, no hardware, no setup, no Tailscale, etc. It's already inside Gmail and Docs. That's a structural advantage no third party can copy, making it very hard to compete.
OpenClaw isn't losing though. Not yet. It's being sorted into the smaller, stickier half the developers and privacy conscious users who understand that an agent this intimate should answer to them, on hardware they control, with software they control. It’s not used as money more than Bitcoin. Not even close. Lightning alone processes over $1B per month in transactions, compared to Monero’s 600K. If you include on-chain, Bitcoin is orders of magnitude higher usage as a medium of exchange.
