Due to the Korean war, and some other stuff South Korea has been under heavy American cultural influence. They rejected stuff from Japan, which is also the reason Starcraft popped off over there, because all they had were american/westen computer games. So they were basically isolated in that respect from the rest of the region. The American pop industry was just copied and pasted, and cranked to over 9000.
So...I dunno, its kind of rich as an American to shit on KPop while you guys culturally raped that country...ITS YOUR THING SIR. Somehow its even more fucked up than what you guys did with those Disney Club children. Look at Britney now sir....should have left her alone, LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE.
But yeah its a 100% artificial thing, those bands/idols are top to bottom manufactured products, including all the plastic surgery. Which, if you were not aware, is also next level in South Korea in general; which is no suprise if you on the one hand bombard that population with western beauty standards they physically can never achieve in the first place, and add a dash of USA-degenerate-plastic-surgery-industry.
South Korea is a broken society, has had the lowest birthrates in the world for a while iirc. The fact that that country is basically its capital, and that that capital is in range of essentially trebuchet fire from North Korea also does not help. Regardless of how backwards North Korea is, all they need in terms of military tech is the ability to throw hunks metal over a wall and it will obliterate South Korea in an afternoon. They have literally exist at gunpoint 24/7/365 for all those years. With a very impactfull manditory military service as a result.

Man we opened up our farm to V4V free vegetables for two years and ended up having all kinds of stuff taken from time to time… nothing of real value or anything just that we were literally *giving* stuff away and people still took more than we were offering. Can someone tell us why Erik is having so many issues with zaps? When I zap his notes it doesn't show up on his notes. When I zap him on zap stream the zaps don't show up. He seems to get the zaps tho. They are just not displaying.
When I zap him from his Wallet of satoshi address to wallet of satoshi address. He gets the sats. Is it because he needs a nip-05 or something else? He said he is using Amethyst.
