Haven't used Dropbox for about 10 years I use my own self-hosted Nextcloud now. It's much cheaper.
4TB+ for $0/month. The cost of the drives is all I paid. $60-ish dollars for main drives, and $40 for the backup drives.

My group has a lot of appetite for 1) a platform where we can have a time banking "directory" without giving out our contact information publicly; 2) "barter board" style markets which are untenable legally but we could host up to three yard sale type swap meets a year and this could be a communication coordination system for solving the double coincidence of wants; and 3) algorithm free social media that lets them own their own content independent of the toxic legacy giants.
They don't give a shit about Nostr. And if I went into it from that angle their eyes would glaze over. But given what they've said they want I'm fairly certain Nostr can solve it for them.
