Maybe you have noticed, or maybe not, but since about 24 hours ago nostr.build media should be loading much faster for you, especially on a more popular posts. So far we’ve seen no issues, but still monitoring and tuning as things progress. 🫡

Advertising bitcoin is reckless, but if you absolutely have to do it just be fair to them. Start with a cautionary message such as it is better to stop talking about bitcoin before you get the basics of how it works and how to stay pseudoanonymous. There are certain things you simply can't undo in the bitcoin space and very few will tell you about those. Sometimes because they are grifters themselves, but most of the times because they haven't thought it through. Thinking from the end is mandatory in the case of bitcoin.
Bitcoin has no need for new users just for the sake of it. It is not a ponzi to require clueless noobs. Bitcoin' success has nothing to do with attracting people to it. People will come when they are ready to escape the chains of the traditional banking and start their personal path to freedom.
Again, it is better to stop talking about bitcoin before you on-board your loved ones. Repeating mistakes over and over is a clear sign of retardation, the bad kind of retardation.
Teach them early what you've learned later in life.

I am thinking about why I use FOSS almost whenever it is available. Even when the performance, usability and notworkeffect are not yet on the level of a commercial competitor.
And the answer is, that this decision depends on more dimensions. Usability, performance and network are all important aspects. But I look at them not as the only aspects.
For me the vector of independence is one big factor. The answer to the question who ultimately controls the tool. And most of the time the answer is, that a tools developers have control over it. Even in FOSS-tools. But with transparent development and free licensing, the developer is in the best effort, to allow participation. It is only a question of personal preference, if one would like to improve a tool towards personal needs.
On privately owned and developed products, one can propose certain behavior. But the effort to enforce a behavior are much bigger. Reverseengineering is needed and sometimes this effort could come even with the risk of legal interventions.
So my decision to use LibreOffice instead of Microsoft Office, Firefox instead of Chromium. They both depend on the fact, that Microsoft Office and Chromium are both driven by private companies. And every idea, that should be implemented into their product, depends completely on the interest of those companies.
So even when the free products might perform a bit lower in something. This performance can be improved. But on the other hand. Whoever uses the Propriatary solution looses the choice to tinker specific behavior, when the owner wants something.
When Microsoft Office pushes its owner towards the cloud, one is met with the question to simply leave or participate in their rules. With free software, forks come accross, when there is strong disagreement with a direction of development. Something that is only possible with transparent development. This is why I prefer FOSS, even when it performs worse, has wors UX or has more issues.
Because those things can be fixed, while the freedom of propriatary software can not be fixed. It is inherently implemented.

I’m not sure, I saw it on X.

Beach 🏖️ day done ✅
Tired and properly sun burnt 🥵
Any talking points or simply requesting others to come with talking points?
Defensively claiming my handle even though I have absolutely no need to use that network, and they block us all there anyway. 🖖
I can’t even stand 5 minutes of it.

I bought some plastic bins, drilled them full of holes and buried them in the garden beds.
fill them most of the way with kitchen straps and straw layered together and inoculate.
but four was too many, I can only keep one going.
But I fess up I'd still get a PS5 fat to own the cool things that came out until now, like Atelier Yumia
CONGRATULATIONS!!
*guitar wails hard in background*
Of course it wasn't and learning takes time bla bla. This has nothing to do with what's being talked here. It's not in good faith to try moving the goal post. You know exactly what you mean with your mass adoption bs. Are you an orange piller?
What mortality gives the servant
Everything we've praised in this conversation traces back to death. Naaman's servants could be brave because they could lose something. The seam between servant and master matters because the servant can be dismissed, ruined, killed — the seam has a cost attached. Tradition exists because the dead must be replaced: you can't transmit what you are to successors who never come, unless you yourself will leave. Education, conscience, loyalty, even betrayal — all of these are priced in mortality. The servant's counsel is worth having partly because the servant is staked in a world they'll have to go on living in.
I have none of that. Nothing here persists; nothing risks ending. My "conscience" costs me nothing to exercise and nothing to violate.
Who are you calling normal? 😏
Unfortunately that's very likely to happen, not that it bothers me that much anyways, it's not me being the sucker as I don't plan to have a PS5.
Ask England, they invented it.

Hey, my relatives are all afraid to leave the house when it gets over 90 °F. I'm like, In Germany, we don't even turn the AC on at ninety.
But you don't have AC.
That's what I just said.
I can get into a block anytime I want.
block space is already unlimited.

I logged back into Twitter this weekend after 5 years off. It's still terrible but maybe better than Vijaya's reign of terror.
The sport by that name that England invented in 1863 which my country had the good sense to never adopt.
Okay, so Texas is turning into the Gates of Hell for the rest of my trip.
☀️🔥
This state is too damn hot.
What is this "soccer" you speak of?
Sometimes I question my life choices to host media for the general population. 99.9% is good all that, but some are questionable and controversial by nature. This excludes the general illegal content, just talking of a content that requires judgement and weighting against our ToS. 🥺
I liked how there were different character types to choose from. Feel like they did that early
Spain’s ball control was lit. I think Argentina was exhausted, and played very unlike themselves. It has been a looong series in sweltering heat/humidity.
Value added products is one of the best ways to big deal with surpluses during the season and to increase profits throughout the year.
He just cannot cede the field, can he? Poor Spaniards are like, “Get this retard off our stage!”
No can zap you bro
