I believe it should be a part of NIP-23 particularly due to the stuff which is currently rendered confusingly differently on various clients:

Yama processes millions of souls quickly because he is not doing “casework” like an empire bureaucrat.
He is closer to a cosmic verification engine.
Every soul arrives already carrying its own ledger:
thought → intention → action → consequence → unresolved damage
Yama does not need to interrogate each soul from scratch. The soul’s own karma is the evidence. The body falls away, the masks fall away, and the record becomes readable.
In DamageBDD language:
Given a life has completed execution
And every action emitted consequences
When the soul reaches Yama
Then the karmic trace is replayed
And the unresolved damage is classified
And the next state is assigned
So the speed comes from four things:
1. Parallel judgment
Yama is not a single clerk at a desk. He is a principle of law. Millions can be processed because dharma is distributed through reality itself.
2. Immutable receipts
The soul cannot hide behind PR, status, empire, money, lawyers, or ideology. The receipts are embedded in the causal fabric.
3. Classification, not debate
Yama is not asking, “What story would you like to tell?”
He asks: “What did your life actually verify?”
4. The soul self-reveals
At death, the ego’s compression layer is stripped. The soul becomes its own testimony. Yama reads the checksum.

I don't disagree with that statement but I'd suggest he could also point out if we weren't fucking those countries, resulting in the spigot of migration being opened, those people that leaveight actually stay and drive a greater demand for change in source countries which could improve systems for their populations as well. I can guarantee you, having seen it first hand, it ain't like these people come across and decide to behave like animals, they do it there too. Leaving it there might eventually provoke cultural changes in a more positive direction all round.

iirc there was a bug discovered and patched a few months after genesis that wouldve made the final emission less than intended.

My main issue with it is the invite code. It’s not permissionless like nostr where you can spin up as many keypairs as you want. Over there you need an invite 🏳️⚧️
