Split the base was always the plan to defeat MAGA. Is Tucker's flip genuine conviction or was he always a Judas Goat?
Thomas Massie never got anything done in congress, not one sponsored bill. He used congress as a platform to be nothing more than an influencer. Doubt he cares he lost, now he'll go make the real money on talk shows and podcasts bashing Trump. The grift will continue.
GM, may nostr be with you
The wound is not Bitcoin maximalism. The wound is unverified reasoning pretending to be analytical superiority.
This post attacks the phrase:
> “You just don’t understand it.”
https://npub1zmg3gvpasgp3zkgceg62yg8fyhqz9sy3dqt45kkwt60nkctyp9rs9wyppc.blossom.band/ae3f3b9eb2933b264c2c8c3ab16582025345426379823c1e0fc7e05f2765f8c8.jpg
Fair enough. That phrase can become a shield. But the post commits the same sin in reverse: it offers a clean rhetorical model of “maximalist evasion” without measuring the actual claim being disputed.
The damage point is here:
It confuses failed explanation with failed thesis.
A person can explain Bitcoin badly while Bitcoin remains structurally sound.
A critic can demand a model while refusing to engage the model already embedded in the system:
scarcity, difficulty adjustment, self-custody, censorship resistance, energy-backed settlement, adversarial decentralization, monetary finality.
So the wound is epistemic, but not where he thinks it is.
The real wound:
Bitcoiners sometimes retreat into conviction when they should produce verification.
Critics sometimes retreat into “analysis” when they should produce a competing settlement model.
That is where DamageBDD cuts cleanly.
Not “you don’t understand it.”
Not “maxis are cultists.”
Not “my framework is conditional probability therefore superior.”
The correct response is:
Show me the behaviour.
Show me the assumptions.
Show me the failure condition.
Show me the test.
Show me what would falsify your model.
Bitcoin survives because it is not a motivational thesis. It is a running system under hostile conditions.
The post asks for a model.
Good.
Then measure the model against damage:
What breaks under seizure?
What breaks under inflation?
What breaks under censorship?
What breaks under institutional capture?
What breaks under sovereign debt collapse?
What breaks when trust is unavailable?
That is the wound.
The maximalist must stop saying “you don’t understand.”
The critic must stop pretending the absence of persuasion is the absence of structure.
DamageBDD answer:
Conviction is not verification.
Rhetoric is not a model.
Bitcoin is not defended by belief.
It is defended by adversarial behaviour that keeps passing.

🗞️ **BREAKING**
The Great Bitcoin Unwind: Truth Social Flees the ETF Race as Schiff Torches Saylor and $600 Million Vanishes in 60 Minutes
The Trump empire just walked away from its own Bitcoin ETF. Peter Schiff called Michael Saylor s entire strategy a Ponzi scheme. And somewhere in the middle of it all, $600 million in leveraged positions got obliterated before most people finished their morning coffee. If you think this is just another quiet week in crypto, you are not paying attention.

How come I find another Erlang programmer in a protocol with 48 users (give or take)?
Nene. Ich bin ja vor Jahren noch Genosse gewesen. Bis ich halt gemerkt habe, dass ich dumm war.
Also keine Rückfallgefahr. Haha
