I’ve been trying to make PII as secure as possible, and only get what is absolutely needed. Gotta tell ya, even just an email (considered PII), it is still a major pain to architect and design. Great news is that I am almost there, so the user’s email will be safu even from the admin or leaked DB backup or dump. I ain’t taking chances, I am not Coinbase or any of the large corporations that can afford such a blunder.

Totally agree. I definitly look at FOSS as one big system working towards freedom from a technical perspective. And Blockchain is one building in the city of FOSS.
Activism and politics are also important to actually bring those solutions to a bigger audience. Developing is not everything.

To me there is a clear winner, when it comes to craziest tracking: Meta and Yandex breaking Androids Sandbox in order to connect browser activity to a specific user.

They broke the sandbox. So lets say you are logged in to Facebook, but in the browser you are not logged in. In whatever Event, when a website got a Facebook tracking pixel, they would be able to link this to your Facebook account through an Android sandbox exploit. Means they could track millions of internet users persistently through the internet.
I wonder what'd happen on Nostr if devs actually teamed up instead of dropping 3524 services solo that do the exact same thing....
