I've had similar thoughts of social media focused around knowledge creation.
Github is I think a good working example.

Laut KI ist es anscheinend nicht möglich ProtonDrive auf Linux zu installieren, das müsste ich dann über den Browser nutzen.
Das finde ich unschön, hält mich aber nicht davon ab auf Linux umzusteigen.

Well you essentially have something like this within most mainstream (tech giant) social media platforms via their communities function.
A more narrow example would be @nprofile…6sc7 wherein the app is built around the specific community topic of Bitcoin.
The issue I see with what you are thinking @nprofile…lapa through is no idea exists without a person…without people…without relationships.
So the profile does somewhat need to be front and center; otherwise you run the risk of having to spin up thousands of different instances of the app; one for each idea/topic.
At which point, one of the core rules of technology is broken, “Technology will never be the cause of greatness only an accelerator thereof”.
So to set out to build something (anything) solely for technology’s sake isn’t prudent unless there is the underlying connector; that is human to human relationships.

I forked Habla and Jumble and changed those. My habla.nostr.info is static html cause I don't want to run some js node server that the original author liked. I run jumble.nostr.info cause I like Jumble but also like to see full threads which @npub1syj…f6wl won't include as they only work with wild layout shifts. Fair enough but the beauty of FOSS - you can have it your way without hating on those who gave you their labor for free.

The problem is mainly how bad the appeal process is. In the netherlands was a famous case where a dad sent a pic of his child with a rash to someone. It got auto synced to his google drive and then he was banned and reported to the police.
At trial the reason came out when their doctor tsstified that indeed that someone was their doctor who had requested the picture since in person visits were discouraged in the corona era.
He won in court obviously and had his name cleared that way. But despite winning and being demonstrably not a pedophile google refused to return his account.
Meanwhile I am dealing with another shit appeal process by them. My site got a false dmca claim because an onlyfans girl hired some stupid automatic dmca bot that matched a function in our code with her handle despite not being the same. It reported our site for containing her leaks along with nasa, wikipedia, various news sites, stackexchange and more. But did google do anything about it? So far not, not even a reply to my appeal.

What has changed recently? I think the only thing that has changed is that VCs realize there is a sellable narrative and that they can pump zcash. You have been around long enough to see that so I can only guess that you have your own bags to unload.
I'm not a Monero user but it is clear as day that Monero has an organic user base and zcash has no user base, only pumpers and dumpers. Where can you even spend zcash since it is so useful for... Something?
