That's how it should be.
Had a pretty clear understanding with my dad all week that we don't talk politics. Worked out pretty well!

Blast from the past. Iirc correctly, his daughter learned some python and coded up a good portion of his project too. I don't know why, but that statement always stuck with me lol
That one was definitely mission accomplished. I know very few people with intact families.
I remembered there were ideas to make it a trilogy, ending with Escape from Earth, because there was nothing else that Plissken could escape from. Guess Escape from LA flopping killed that option.
Then I remembered having watched a SciFi action movie named Lockout years ago that had a very similar plot that an "Escape from Earth" movie would have, but it was made my Luc Besson and not John Carpenter.
Turns out, Carpenter had the same suspicion. 🌚

Feature fatigue I guess. I'll bounce back
It sounds cool, but I'm tired of bouncing between clients to use different things. I've sort of given up on trying new features and just settle for whatever does the basics in a clean enough way. https://i.nostr.build/iILLQFO9VIOsSWcp.gif
Worked out great for @nprofile…9wgx.
Was not aware of that. Only familiar with cheap whore-ology 🥁
Embarrassed I had to look that word up (horology), for as soon as I saw it had to do with clocks I was like oh yeah duh 🤦♂️
Learning all sorts of stuff today
You're forgiven🙏🏻.
Real news, late, is acceptable😬.

Built a snap circuits FM radio with the kids.
Fun and educational. The downside iimeant being subjected to broadcast FM radio. Buy a mattress! Fuck yeah soldiers are great! Buy a car! You probably need this medicine and don't even know it!
Music nowhere to be found. How do people willingly subject their brains to that shit?
Tore it apart and invented new letters on the 7 segment display instead.
On Amethyst, nobody needs to fight over this :)

Not at all. That is why we Christians believe that Jesus is Lord. And the Lord is JHWH.
I'm definitely part of the problem. Probably most of it.

📰 **The Great Bitcoin Unwind: Truth Social Flees the ETF Race as Schiff Torches Saylor and $600 Million Vanishes in 60 Minutes**
✍️ by Paris
The Trump empire just walked away from its own Bitcoin ETF. Peter Schiff called Michael Saylor s entire strategy a Ponzi scheme. And somewhere in the middle of it all, $600 million in leveraged positions got obliterated before most people finished their morning coffee. If you think this is just another quiet week in crypto, you are not paying attention.

I also don't think it's a coincidence that humans keep forming governments even after their previously really bad one failed. I think people quickly learn that nature is a really cold bitch and there are humans who simply will not go along with the flower in a gun barrel hippie mentality. Groups will always form and governance with it. I think it's just natural.
That’s smart. 12 y old water 🤌🏾
I'm not against chipping in for the collective good, as long as it's voluntary 😉
i asked them has it matured enough so that i can come after it
Ou então no futuro, substituir arena MRV por Arena NOSTR 😎😅
I take it, you don't want this note, on-chain zapped😬😜.

I think it's an eternal battle and some people are unwilling to accept that. They think anarchy would be utopia. I can't help but laugh at the idea that all the serial killers, rapists, robbers, would somehow decrease if left unrestrained. And we already have guns and self defense so I don't think that would change. Some think full on statism will bring the utopia. As if having no control over your own life is somehow going to improve your situation. The truth is that the best of human life I know of has occurred under limited government. You aren't going to have a perfect system and there's no point in a government that tolerates a guy trying to overthrow it simply because a court ruling didn't go his way. Of course defending rights can get complicated, but it's better than everyone running around shooting each other to settle disputes. The US was onto something by not having a single thing as government (branches). There is no perfect scenario where you have perfectly preserved rights. Reality just doesn't align with that notion. I figure a constantly vigilant populace with a limited government is the best we can hope for. I prefer very limited.
From experience the longest part is to dig the ground to pour the concrete to ancker the thing. And don't skip this as kids can be rough on it when growing up and it cannot stand safely without proper ankers.
