Bitcoin’s “purpose” is to be neutral, if a neutral protocol can even be assigned a purpose.
BIP-110 introduces consensus-level content-policing breaking this neutrality.
Even the BIP-110 version can be spammed with the toxic content so I don’t understand where the tradeoffs to support BIP-110 in its current form can be somehow switched to positive.
If node running is a concern, better focus on UTXO optimization or better pruning defaults instead of creating precedents that break Bitcoin’s neutrality.
Knots emerging as an alternative major client was great. Would have loved to see it reaching 50% of the nodes. That would have been “sending a signal” and building more social consensus for its goals.
But BIP-110 alienates the potential Knots converts unfortunately.
People on social media will try to convince you to care about stupid shit that doesn’t matter. To give your scarce time and attention to the Current Thing du jour.

We've removed it (getrandom + wasm_js feature) because in some context was causing issues (wasm32-unknown-unknown used outside JS).
You can solve the issue by adding the getrandom dep in your Cargo.toml, and enable the wasm_js feature. Make sure to do it for the right getrandom version(s), which can be found in the Cargo.lock

新组的雷厉风行（因为是我认识唯一开过两个 IC 的 manager 所以甚至感觉有点凶凶，不过之前一起合作过的项目确实感觉是办事能力很强的）印度女 manager 竟然会去 backpacking……又是一个反 stereotype 人设（继前前 manager 是印度 childfree 女权 cat lady 之后）。突然印象变好（？

不知道为什么就跑题到这里了���两天的四强赛和NPB半个赛季中球团总裁们各种新闻所谓规则制度引进就会有明确的感受：
赛场上球迷最爱讲公平，规则实际上并不会真正有所谓绝对的部分，但是大家讨论吵架就是要绝对。竞技体育延伸的社会议题也是如此。
体育本身是在训练人接受不确定性，而体育讨论却越来越追求确定性。
比赛总是让人理解不确定性或者公平，实际是在投射制度如何建立公平或者减少对公平解释
当然就会变成越想把制度规则靠近公平的时候就会暴露比赛之外的内容
规则和制度是在展示如何定义公平，而大众的讨论则是人们如何感知公平
