Monero Nostr clients already exist.
The main issue is there’s just a supply, & demand issue for the monero community.
For some reason Monero people prefer other platforms besides Nostr.
Monero, however is the second biggest community on here despite that.
At the very least we deserve acknowledgment, and I feel like payment targets is a fine medium.
The zaps are the native experience while enabling people to transmit value how they want.
It will get to the point where different tipping/zapping standards will exist but if we want to expand to others, purple pill make orange pill go down easier then payment targets help streamers, artists, cosplayers, vtubers, of, etc. who have kofi, PayPal, Patreon join Nostr where then we can explain why BTC is better than kofi/paypal/patreon, etc.

That's not being cancelled, thats disagreeing with your emoloyer and quiting, which any person should do if they think they are being manipulated.

Oh, I meant more like every client should have the basic nips compatibility like gift wrapping/private DMs (NIP-59) for example 😑.
If clients don’t have a universal agreed upon list of nips/events/kinds it causes issues because person on client a sees a note/event that person on client b doesn’t see.
I get not all kinds/events/nips can be implemented the same way but there should be as little friction as possible between clients, and their standards.

That's why I don't like some brands. That theory adds up unless you understand that we are living in a period of transition. I view Bitcoin as more of an investment in the future right now. I use it as money too, but I just mean that I fully accept that it will be volatile for quite a while. People who don't understand it are still making economic decisions alongside those who do and economic decisions will never be totally rational anyway.

Any wallet that uses BIP39/BIP44 would in theory be considered a “shitcoin” wallet since you can generate a BIP39 seed phrase, and then use that seed phrase to also create wallets for other cryptocurrencies.
Also many Bitcoin only wallets tend to lack robust features especially privacy features when compared to multi-coin wallets.
So either way this mode of thinking is nullified because you are essentially limiting to subpar tools.
I would say coldcard is the exception where Bitcoin only wins, otherwise it’s better to utilize the benefits of multi-coin, & not lock yourself into one currency.
