This generation is trying to normalize a lot of things that shouldn’t be normalized.
Not because they’re new. Because nobody wants to be the one who says no.
Every generation has its list. What’s different now is the speed. An idea gets floated on a Monday morning and by Friday it’s a hill people will lose friends over.
Normal used to mean tested by time. Now it means tested by algorithm. Whatever gets the most engagement wins the argument, whether or not it’s true or good for anybody.
You don’t have to go along with it. Say the unfashionable thing. Someone else in the room is thinking it too.
They are absolute menaces. The one who hit me at the farmer's market already almost hit me again at the Kroger's across town. Living in a small town with a large elderly population is getting unusually stressful 🤣

I don't know why these old menaces get so defensive afterwards. Like we were the egregious ones for not diving out of the way and making them look like bad drivers because we're being hateful.

Xteink x4 is a great little dumb e-reader once you load crosspoint on it. Side loaded no DRM epubs only. I didn't enable network and it doesn't do any ads or recommendations if I did.
