Gödel keeps resurrecting on LinkedIn as a metaphor, not as a proof.
The post is aesthetically good, but mathematically it’s doing some dangerous glue-work:
G₂ is real math.
It is a 14-dimensional exceptional Lie group tied to octonions and symmetry.
CH is real math.
The Continuum Hypothesis asks whether any cardinality sits strictly between:
\aleph_0
\quad\text{and}\quad
2^{\aleph_0}
Gödel’s constructible universe is real math.
Inside , CH holds.
But the jump from “discrete rotations inside a continuous Lie group” to “this explains CH” is poetic, not formal. G₂ does not solve CH. It does not resurrect Gödel. It gives a nice image of the tension between continuous symmetry and discrete structure, but CH lives in set-theoretic foundations, not Lie-group geometry.

G₂ is beautiful. The Continuum Hypothesis is beautiful. Gödel’s constructible universe is beautiful.
But beauty is not a proof.
G₂ gives us a powerful metaphor: continuous symmetry can contain discrete structure.
CH asks a different question: whether there is a size of infinity between the countable and the continuum.
Gödel showed CH is true inside , the constructible universe. Cohen later showed CH can fail in other models of ZFC.
So the continuum was not “tamed” once and for all. It was shown to be independent of the usual axioms.
The real lesson is sharper:
Geometry can inspire logic. Logic can constrain geometry. But metaphor must kneel before proof.
Resurrection requires verification.

As a kid adult I knew in blue collar needed some kind of major surgery before they were 40. Disks, joints, veins, clots, kidneys etc. Not taking care of your body comes with the work too. You have to be very disciplined to eat well, sleep well, and stay healthy. A family member was a tech until early 30s, both of his knees are gone, a wrist and his lower back. A couple others have some fused vertibre, brain damage (in one case) missing fingers the list goes on lol.
Theses guys are on 1000mg of nicotine/day. Tripple that in caffeine, sugar and whatever else they can throw in just to get 5000 cals/day in.
That's just working baby XD
I think the hardest part is they fall victim to poor financial habits too, not realizing they're going to wear their bodies out before they ever have a chance to retire, if they live long enough to. Not one man on a whole side of my family lived long enough to retire. Some of them knew that, many don't.
