Also implemented the "w" tags and the ability to have multiple lighnting addresses directly on the kind 0 profile. We're tip-agnostic, so we just implement every possibility.

Allow for different things Venmo usernames, Cashtags, other coins address would be ideal but worse case scenario being able to copy and paste that section could work too.

Good or bad ideas don’t require protectionism to survive or die. If people are genuinely that worried about privacy, they simply won’t link even their npub to Lightning in the first place.

Only one of these usecases is realistic, and in that case barter or people signing IOU’s is going to be much more likely to work (with proper accountability) than ecash which can be rugged with 0 reputation risk.

Login with Google isn't the problem, amber removal is.
Really brave step to tell all your existing users to fuck off. Theres a lot of people who are on nostr and learned enough to use amber but they still want a nice and clean client that Just Works™. To have amber support just to remove later, they feel like you just used them to beta test the app and now you're throwing them away.
I support you in your mission. I even like this fake Google login. Idk if removing amber genuinely made the DX any better, or if you intentionally did it to filter out the autistic nostr users from trying to alter the development roadmap, but either way, I am principally against complaining to someone who doesn't care about your opinion. The complainers feel a lot like immigrants protesting ICE. I hope you didn't receive this comment that way.
