I think direction, goal setting, and progress indicators is likely more important than just throwing lots of money at something. I think that was my main mistake.

Usually people get frustrated with this response because they actually want to use the fast and slick thing but don’t realize the reason its fast and slick is because we didn’t make dubious engineering decisions to support every possible thing imaginable.
We made the same decision in damus android. async signing has major perf and complexity issues. especially when you are decrypting lots of things at once like DMs. In nostrdb + agentium we have like 50,000 things giftwrapped. At some point amber just doesn’t make sense.
