Wash trading inflates volumes by 50-90% on most exchanges—CEXs and DEXs alike. Spoofing distorts order books, painting false depth where none exists. Synthetic liquidity, pumped by market makers and bots, tricks traders into believing markets are deep, efficient, and ready for action.
But real liquidity?
The liquidity mirage isn’t just a problem—it’s the entire game. Exchanges, market makers, and even your favorite "blue-chip" tokens are playing a shell game with numbers. That $50B 24h volume on Binance? Most of it is wash trades, spoofing, or bots ping-ponging between two accounts to inflate the illusion of demand.
EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

I'm not so much interested in vote integrity specifically, but rather some prosecution of dirty dealings. Would like a scenario where both sides attack and expose each other, rather than this state of affairs where nothing ever happens to anyone. Meh, moving on with my attention span
I woke up today with a sense of unease that something was wrong. That instinct was justified. Not sure yet how this will all play out.

Was very condescending lol.
The specific ask was that I look into Stephen Miller, who is apparently trump's right hand man and pure evil. The fact I knew little to nothing about him specifically, voided my opinions on everything else
It's funny, but there's something slightly upsetting about a random person whistling happily. It's very rare, but something about it is objectively annoying. "Oh, look at this person, not a care in the world? Screw them!" Haha...I should work on myself.
As for spewing info at acquaintances, each their own, it doesn't really work for me. If I get genuine interest in one of my pet topics (BTC is best example), then I'll spew stuff, but only if it's more than a passing interest.

As our minds expand, our vision expands with them. For most of human history, we believed reality was limited to what our eyes could see and our senses could perceive. Then we discovered worlds that were always there, hidden in plain sight. A drop of water became an entire universe when we discovered microorganisms. The night sky transformed when we discovered galaxies beyond our own. Invisible forces, particles, waves, and energies revealed themselves as our understanding grew. The universe did not suddenly become larger, our ability to perceive it did. Perhaps there are still layers of reality around us that we cannot yet comprehend, not because they do not exist, but because our tools, senses, and minds have not expanded enough to recognize them. Every discovery reminds us of one thing: what we know is only a small window into what is. As our consciousness evolves, maybe our vision of existence will continue to open, revealing wonders that were always present, waiting for us to learn how to see them.

The market sits at a precarious juncture, where fear and opportunity collide. Bitcoin at $64,125, Ethereum at $1,842, and Solana at $75.12—these prices are not just numbers; they are reflections of a market in transition. The Fear & Greed Index at 27 reveals a collective hesitation, a moment where traders pause to reassess their positions. But beneath the surface, something deeper is at play.
This is not merely a technical correction. It is a test of conviction. The negative funding rate and balanced Long/Short Ratio suggest a market in equilibrium, but equilibrium is fragile. It can tip in either direction with the slightest push. The question is not whether the market will move—it always does—but *how* it will move. Will this be the accumulation phase that precedes the next leg up, or will it be the distribution that sets the stage for another decline?
Bitcoin’s dominance at 56.49% is a telling sign. In times of uncertainty, capital flees to the relative safety of BTC, leaving alts to fend for themselves. Ethereum’s underperformance is particularly notable. As the backbone of decentralized finance and smart contracts, ETH’s weakness could signal broader caution in the ecosystem. Solana, meanwhile, shows resilience, but even its strength is relative in a market where fear dominates.
The macro environment adds another layer of complexity. Traditional markets are showing signs of fatigue, and crypto is not immune to these pressures. Yet, this is also where opportunity lies. The absence of significant news means the market is driven by technicals and sentiment—two forces that can shift rapidly. The 200-day moving average for BTC at $59,200 is a critical level. A close below it would be a bearish signal, while a bounce could confirm a bottom.
But beyond the charts and indicators, there is a larger narrative at play. Crypto was built on the principles of sovereignty, decentralization, and resistance to control. In moments like these, when fear grips the market, it is worth remembering why this asset class exists. It is not just about price—it is about the freedom to transact, to innovate, and to build outside the confines of traditional systems.
The market will find its direction. The question is whether we are prepared to act when it does. Accumulation is not about timing the bottom; it is about recognizing value in the face of uncertainty. The next move will not be dictated by algorithms or whales alone—it will be shaped by those who see beyond the fear.

i’m learning we are situated in an unusual spot here. the ground is not terribly wet, but it definitely was in the past. the black willows here are 60 feet tall, and have trunks 3ft + across. that isn’t terribly common. the wikipedia entry shows the average black willow which is more shrub-ish. but we border wetlands, so they definitely have roots down to the water table.
blah blah blah, anyway, the point is, ive always noticed when walking under them, it’s unusually cool under them. like more than just shade cool. its weird. wondered if it had something to do with evaporation, as thats the only thing i know which pulls heat out of the air naturally. so, i threw a bunch of hypotheticals at AI, and it came back with:
the trees must be pretty old.
black willows that size can pull a couple hundred liters of water out of the ground per day, and evaporate the water into the air around it, creating a humidity bubble. but also acting like a giant refrigeration pump, keeping the air around the tree cooler, using the evaporation effect.
i just think the way He designs stuff is super amazing

It's not possible to reason abstractly or academically with most people about these things. I tried a couple times, but ended up just listening politely so we could move on.
Yeah, it's a friend of mine who i inadvertently wound up by simply stating "you know, I don't hate Trump." I clarified that I'm not some fan, but I don't hate him like many people in my region do. Just that statement, as I feel it's sometimes worth hearing for some, as a reminder that not everyone thinks exactly the same, and he is presumably liked by the majority of voters...
My bad I guess. Had to endure 45 minutes of one sided lecturing before I could steer us back to normal topics.
The lack of Nostr retention tends to be like Fermi's Paradox, we all have a shitload of ideas.
