How are you using these tools? I imagine very differently than how I do.
I started with a Frisbee lol. Put 2 screws in it so it would sit on top of the pole boxing. Then my wife found a mounted "bird bath" at Aldi. It's way too shallow for a bird bath cause it would evaporate by noon here so I use it for chirpcuteries.

I'm making #plaza. a fast, native desktop client written in Zig that renders every pixel itself (no browser, no Electron, no JS), so it opens instantly and scrolls a local-first feed smoothly. your secret key never touches the client, signing runs in a bundled, isolated #signet signer. you can start browsing guest-first immediately, before ever creating or importing an identity.

Peanuts in the shell are their favorite (the neighbors can build a damn bridge afaic.) I also take shelled peanuts and crush em to sprinkle along my fence top. Kip is 100% correct, come up with a whistle unique to you when you put stuff out for them, and they'll soon learn it and arrive immediately. When it's cooler, I also put out little bits of bacon fat trimmings and they get HAPPY.
Can confirm. Kids are expensive AS FUCK. Worth every penny, but EXPENSIVE.

The medical and psych fields are overrun with "experts" on conditions they've never experienced.
A personal favorite example is that Borat's brother, a neurotypical, has been the worlds leading "expert" on autism for decades. After all that time working with autistic people he unironically thinks that autistic people have no theory of mind. That shit would be funny as hell if it wasn't peer reviewed, accepted, published, and used to guide the care of actual human beings.

I expected them to just ramp the hype and go public to dumb on the economically illiterate. Trying to actually turn a sustainable profit is remarkably Un-VC of them.
Despite the naysayers, the most obvious explanation is that the VC insiders think there is more money to be had holding and turning them profitable than hype and dumb to exit now. That would take a huge gap in expected profit considering how high time preference VC usually is when there is a profit to be locked in.
I could. But I choose to be a good father and teach my sons skills and let them get experience in doing. They'll be more capable men than if I just did everything myself. I'm not raising commies.

For sure it is not. Since Nostr does not win, when houndreds of independent apps are used. Nostr does win as one protocol being adapted by houndreds of apps. Whoever can not agree on this, will leave the protocol at some point.

Almost everyone I know with an iPhone are weird about about installing apps on their phones. They act like installing an app is a lifetime commitment. So I'm sure thousands of new apps aren't going to help.

I didn’t want to have to make this app. It happened out of necessity while I was building something different and discovered that my oversized follow count was causing me all kinds of technical glitches that I had to solve. So I built it, and now I guess it’s one of the more popular apps on Nostr. Odell tried it and called it “fucking depressing.” Mission accomplished.
