You urgently need to stop being a foolish romantic. A minimal state has never been, nor could it ever be, a solution or a remedy. The foundation of the state's existence is the will to power; it seeks to grow ever stronger, and nothing can stop it. Stop being so naïve as to fall into this trap. The solution we need is not minarchism. What we need is immediate abolition. Full dismantling. No transitional phases. Why? Because a "transition phase" requires conceding that the state is morally legitimate -at least in some limited form. But once you concede that, you've already surrendered the argument. If the state is a criminal institution, no version of it -whether micro-criminal or macro-criminal- deserves preservation for even a single day. The "minarchism-first libertarian" lives in a contradiction:
1. If the state is immoral, why preserve it at all?
2. If the state is a parasite, why keep a "small" parasite alive?
3. If the state is a gang, why keep a "minimal" gang on the payroll?
This logic is not libertarian. It is a political version of the marxist "historical phase" doctrine.

But yeah, there was this dude in a certain group who kept swearing discs would rot on me because his did on him.. and in one unrelated day he recorded his "game" place and posted.. and it was like a junkyard with a TV, I felt petty for the PS1 and other working hardware in there.
