AC stands for American Cooling since I guess only Americans have them.
Sorry to say that but your response is a masterclass in cognitive dissonance. You admit the fatal flaws of Bitcoin's architecture and acknowledge Monero's technical superiority, yet you attempt to hand-wave these realities away with a mixture of market-cap worship, economic fallacies, and defeatist pragmatism.
Look mate, citing Bitcoin's market capitalization as your proof of its censorship resistance is a classic correlation-causation fallacy, and you Bitcoin maxis are only seeing the surface of things. Follow the money, for goodness' sake! Bitcoin's market cap is heavily inflated by unbacked, fractional-reserve fiat stablecoins -primarily Tether (USDT)- which print billions out of thin air to absorb BTC sell pressure and manipulate marginal prices on centralized exchanges. Market cap (MC = Price × Supply) is an illusory metric that holds true only as long as liquidity isn't stress-tested simultaneously. Also, censorship is already here, goddammit. Pointing to Iran using Bitcoin over the Strait of Hormuz ignores base-layer reality. Today, major US-based and state-regulated mining pools (such as Foundry USA and Marathon Digital) have actively filtered and excluded OFAC-sanctioned transactions from their mined blocks. When transaction processing is actively filtered by regulated corporate pools at the protocol level, claiming Bitcoin is "uncensorable" is pure wishful thinking.
Then, your weird claim that "Corporations don't decide anything because I run a non-mining node" is perhaps the most ubiquitous and disproven myth in Bitcoin maximalism. Running a non-mining full node merely allows you to validate incoming blocks against your local rules; it gives you zero power to produce, order, or include transactions in a block. Over 70% of Bitcoin's global hash rate is controlled by publicly traded, KYC-compliant, state-regulated corporate mining farms. If regulatory authorities mandate that pools must discard non-compliant UTXOs, your non-mining node will happily accept their sanitized blocks, or you will find yourself isolated on an unmined, stagnant chain. So, Wall Street doesn't need to change protocol code via node voting. By controlling the vast majority of capital, fiat gateways, corporate grants to developers, and mining infrastructure, institutional giants dictate the commercial reality of the asset. They don't care about your hardware wallet or node; they own the ecosystem inside which your asset operates.
Furthermore, your assertion that "fungibility isn't a make-or-break issue yet" demonstrates a complete collapse of monetary understanding. Fungibility (1 unit = 1 unit) is not a feature or an addon; it is THE foundational requirement of money. Without mandatory fungibility, a digital asset is not money -it is a non-fungible surveillance registry, and yes, Bitcoin is just another NFT. As exposed in Seth Simmons' (@sethforprivacy) seminal work, "Bitcoin's Fungibility Graveyard" (And I know you didn't even bother to click on it and have a look), Bitcoin's transparent UTXO model has already destroyed its fungibility: Centralized exchanges, merchants, and OTC desks routinely freeze deposits, demand source-of-funds documentation, or reject UTXOs flagged by Chainalysis for being associated with mixers, privacy tools, or non-KYC sources. Moreover, newly mined "virgin" Bitcoin commands a price premium over secondary market BTC precisely because it carries no transactional history. The moment two units of the same currency trade at different values based on their history, fungibility is dead. And yes, Lightning Network does NOT fix this. Listen: to open or close a Lightning channel, you MUST execute an L1 base-layer transaction subject to chain analysis. Furthermore, Lightning routing nodes are increasingly pressured under FinCEN and European AML guidelines to enforce node-level KYC, causing major non-custodial wallet operators (e.g., Phoenix/ACINQ) to pull out of entire jurisdictions.
Oh, and then there's this utter nonsense: Claiming that dismissing Bitcoin over privacy is "unrealistic" because "the public doesn't care about privacy" is a catastrophic confusion of popularity with permissionlessness. You CANNOT have a permissionless system without default privacy. If every transaction, wallet balance, and counterparty relationship is nakedly visible on an open ledger, any sovereign state or corporate entity can retroactively revoke your "permission" by blacklisting your addresses, cutting off exchange off-ramps, or seizing your real-world assets. Transparency makes a system permissioned by default. Privacy is never an aesthetic preference, bruh. Privacy is the mathematical shield that makes permissionlessness structurally possible.
Ok, the level of this is absolutely ridiculous, because your argument regarding the "tax implications for small businesses" and your baker rejecting Monero reveals a total ignorance of Monero's cryptographic architecture. Monero is Private-by-Default & Auditable-by-Choice: Monero features View Keys (specifically the Private View Key). A business receiving Monero can grant its accountant or the tax authority a view key, allowing them to audit every incoming transaction and prove income with 100% mathematical certainty. (However, as he uses Monero anyway, no tax authorities will be able to harass this hard-working man. Not a soul cares about Monero, RIGHT?) Monero allows the baker to selectively reveal their own tax compliance to the state, WITHOUT exposing their customers' identity, financial net worth, or spending habits to the entire world. But, with Bitcoin, your baker sees your entire wallet balance the second you buy a loaf of bread. With Monero, the baker gets paid, the state gets audited (), and the customer retains their human right to privacy.
Lastly, you said that the "Bitcoin helps opt out of inflation; XMR helps opt out of control." This is a false dichotomy, man... You cannot opt out of monetary debasement with an asset that the state can track, tax, blacklist, and confiscate at will. Bitcoin started as a cypherpunk tech prototype attempt at sound money, but it surrendered its core principles to become an institutional, state-sanctioned, surveillance-laden speculative vehicle. #Monero didn't compromise. It built the technology required for actual individual sovereignty.
Please, before you start spouting empty arguments based on maxi-blind faith -and once again, without stepping out of those Bitcoin circle-jerk echo chambers- have a look at my profile and gain a proper perspective. You've all been blinded by the NGU hype and have missed the fact that it's impossible to get rich without being private and free. It's all too easy and comfortable to turn a blind eye to the flaws and design logic errors in a technology praised by men suffering from a Messiah Complex. Don't fall into this dreadful trap any longer.

Fish tank filter was a bust. The seals were dry rotted and the manufacturer no longer makes them. I could seal it but nothing that won't be a giant pain in the ass with the maintenance frequency. You get what you pay for it seems.
Tweaked the pools chemicals after I gave up on that.
I think that's enough work for the day. Time for sauna then float around in the pool a bit.

I'm pretty pleased with myself 😁
It would be nice if the existing use case was stable.
Unless what this is saying is that the first use case wasn't the best fit for the protocol.
