Further awesome things you get access to as a member are a small amount of Blossom storage, the ability to create and join chat groups, some cool group curation and restricted/private note stuff if you're into that, the ability to invite other people and a whole bunch of other special use case stuff.
In don't consider myself a professional. I tinker, but I learn a lot from devs using AI because it makes them so much more productive. Nostr handles much of the backend and the templates remind me of programs like AstroBlog.
I like front end development so I like to change the index.tsx files by hand. I theoretically could manually change the CSS too, but it's boring to me so I have the AI do it. I could also spin up AI slop art super easy, but AI prefer drawing by hand because the Internet is inundated with AI slop images.
I am not a trained artist. I used to draw cartoons as a kid. I'm no @nprofile…wzj7 . My logos are goofy AF, but they aren't AI Slop. :)
Gotta get those hits. So long as the high is good enough, you can deal with the pain and suffering that comes with it.

they've gotten real bold with that fake temperature bs. At first it was just a couple degrees, now it's nearly 20. That's like a season's worth of temperature difference.
My beef is entirely with devs who were already devs that get addicted to using AI to generate code. But also with people who assume that generating entire programs with AI puts them in the same class as professionals.
I think that if you changed the field to music or medicine or even gardening, the same logic would hold. There's an art to these things that can't be automated away.
Good on you for using the tools at your disposal to create things that have value to you.
Agreed on the being lied to part, but part of it also comes from massive defunding of public health, which turns out to (surprise!) not have been such a great idea.

I'm way to used to being lied to to suddenly think they're being truthful. Even if it is partially the truth, I know it isn't the whole truth.

Our son woke up with a high pitched squeal scream around 1am and 4 am last night... somehow I still feel okay even though I soothed him back to sleep both times. I think he might still be asleep now though, which is kind of unusual. 🤔 his sleep score would be better than mine 😅👶🤣
The news couldn’t possibly be wrong, especially when they’re all using the same exact terminology. It’s obviously a parasite with unknown origins.
It’s a multi-state parasitic infection and people are shitting their brains out. Maybe the stories are in sync because it’s a thing that is actually happening. But who needs a functioning CDC, anyway?
