I always wondered why deflation was considered a bad rather than a good. 🤔
It's because there are those who call good evil and evil good...

doesn't matter, its just noise.
the point was about nostr clients integrating Payment Targets

i totally agree we will be here soon.
but i disagree this is the current situation. every single workflow becomes a rabbit hole that we disappear into for days.
but i appreciate the encouragement.
(not being sarcastic)
Today's recipe is my fridge pickles, which is a small batch recipe...
I've been making fridge pickles for years and they're so easy, and you don't need a bumper crop nor do any canning (especially terrible in the heat)
Good luck and I hope them success. I love all projects that tries to scale Bitcoin. But I prefer Spark.
Doesn’t get better than a day with your kid.

You mentioned onchain zaps as of they were nothing, ignoring the dangers NIP-BC brings.
That's not the flex you think it is 🚩
You can just be a Nostr dev.
Use an *ephemeral* Ark server to collaboratively swap UTXOs (e.g. on-chain zaps) to *Lightning*, trustlessly. Receive on Bolt12 for extra privacy and unlinkability
Thoughts? I'm assuming we can put a HTLC in the Ark's vUTXOs

i look forward to trying it
but it was clear from the start you might not be able to maintain it
so that makes me reluctant to do more than install and check it out
which is just how it goes 👍
Ok, Spark is bad Ark is great, haha.
Of what “business” do you speak?
just that Derek posted about monero
somebody (one person) was rude in his mentions
now he's gotta bitch about "monero people"
its good for maxi engagement, just ask mahdood 😉
its nothing particular to any specific group, its just the Internet.
but making it partisian gets the followers riled up.
they can just check the chain for outputs.
Llevaba un tiempo pensando que faltaba esto. Lo probaré a ver si funciona con coMaps.

Can’t take these Nostr people anywhere…

Oh so it's to do it with intent?
I apologize if the schedule 1 abuse accusations were, um, untoward. I'm not sure if you laughed as hard as I did but I hope so XD
Shakespeare users, I have a project on the web version and want to continue on my phone. I don't see any login besides nostr and when I do that none of the projects show. Is it all locally based, do I need to download the backup and redo on the mobile app?

Wrong. Tell me your suggestion to scale Bitcoin and that has unilateral exit.
Sure. But firing your only client with no plans or actions in place to get a new one isn't good business sense.

True. Para los que usamos Graphene, da por culo la verdad... 😂
There are tradeoffs, as everything that tries to scale Bitcoin and yes and I know them. But it has unilateral exit: https://docs.spark.money/wallets/unilateral-exit#unilateral-exit
Is that so? People see you received cause it was a zap but nobody sees if you sent the funds out again.

we support devs because not everyone has the time to be one bro
the barrier to entry hasnt fallen THAT much
I wouldn't pay 45p nevermind 45 grand😳.
I think the Ark protocol (not tied to a single Ark operator) is the trustless solution, to allow us to swap our on-chain zaps to *Lightning*
Arks gives everybody unilateral exit, allowing a large number of users to have balances, but where everything is compressed into a single UTXO. So we gather a number of Nostr users, each of which have a number of on-chain zaps, and we collaboratively sign one big transaction that creates our 'Ark round', i.e. this single UTXO, consuming all the on-chain zaps.
When that confirms, the operator of the Ark starts paying us via Lightning. With the preimage they receive from each of us, they then have the info needed to 'steal' our Ark balance. I didn't mention this in the previous paragraph, but each user's Ark vUTXO will be a bit complex, including a timelock and a hash
So they get my on-chain funds (via Ark) if, and only if, they pay me the same amount via Lightning. If they don't, then - after a timelock - then I can unilaterally exit to get my money back
In the happy path, they get all our preimages and - by presenting all those preimages on the blockchain - they can sweep all the funds to their own UTXO. Quite small on-chain footprint
Privacy: if we present Bolt12 invoices to the operator, and use Tor and other best practices, then the users should feel very private
You should only need to be on the latest amethyst to it start working
