I've launched my new self-hosted Pixelfed site for my photography.
Pixelfed is a free, open-source, decentralised photo-sharing platform. Think Instagram, but federated, privacy-friendly, ad-free, and not built around one company controlling the whole space.
I'll be using it to share my photography in a place that feels more aligned with ownership, creativity, and the open web.

I've kept Nostr music & this app seperate up to this point. It is more focused on uploading your music collection & sharing (think Napster). I have not included zaps in the app on purpose, as I want it focused on community and sharing, less so on making money for sharing others work.
I don't think it's fair to put the Nostr music in there as it is, when people can't zap them for it. If there was a way I could enable zaps for actual creators, while keeping them off for people uploading the work of others I would love to include them. It will come eventually though. I would like to add zaps for playlists, to promote curation. When I implement that I'll see if I can find a way.

From John the apostle, to other Christians. In Colossians 3:5 Paul commands believers to put to death what is earthly in you, which only makes sense if something earthly remains to be put to death. Sanctification is a lifelong process. Luke 18 is a warning. The Pharisee stopped praying the sinner's prayer because he thinks his identity has moved past it. It is not a stage you graduate from.

Wrote the ZEUS Pay code to give every account a noffer for zaps today and testing it soon.
