Okay crazy part of this story is that they took my kids phone at the beginning of camp (which hello… I’m obviously crazy all around so I’m also a crazy helicopter parent but his dad and step mom were all about it so I was trying to be chill… also I pay for the phone not that you asked for my drama but ANYWAY) and so my kid got hurt playing football and my kid is a broken bone factory so he KNOWS when something is broken and he told the camp counselor like “hey! I think my arm is broken…” and they were like “no you’d be screaming in pain” and so they made my f kid wait 24 hours and called his dad until finally my kid was like “can I please call my mom” at which point everyone got super weird (according to my kid, because everyone knows if my kid asks to call me you better let my kid f call me) and instead they didn’t have my kid call me THEY HAD A CAMP COUNSELOR TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL at which point the hospital was like “um your shit is broke af” at which point FINALLY AFTER 48 hours I was contacted and then my kid was rushed back to Indiana to his sports medicine doctor and put under emergency surgery
