amy is not reliable at all .. esp on graphene. ive confirmed this by reading its logs, it says it fails when it succeeds and/or the relay is fine.. just fyi.
it overloads its dns pool and connection pool till it cant tell what is happening.

RelayTools-android 1.1.0 released! This is a major release, justifying this version number increment.
What's new:
Fine grain missing-note fetching. With automatic settings, and manual extreme spidering of threads. (see -> settings, Note Loading. And settings -> cache relays).
Image blur-hash and over-haul of images and videos display. Personally, I am loving this one.
Quoted notes display, and comment threading, x9000.
Load Images only on Wifi additional setting to augment Auto Image load setting.
Relay MGMT nip86 - status and check fixed for both amber manual and automatic.
Mentions fixed for cooler looking note content refs.

There should be no public amount and no bolt11. There should be attestation from the receiver that someone zaps or scams. That way everyone gets their precious 'signal' and not the rest. Ever notice how a hot zapped post tops out? Because the amounts are visible.
The social implications are important. Notice that venmo started out advertising publicly who sent money to who, and nobody uses that feature anymore other than venmo itself to enforce it's centralized rules.

I disagree this was the intention of zaps, but that is what they were implemented as. Then much later I realized that and was disappointed. It's ok, but saying this is what everyone wanted, I don't believe that.. JB almost immediately tried to fix it with private zaps but those aren't private either. The idea went wild for a bit with everyone pumping it, and now we are here. (A place where we only send dust because it's too public).

I am open to it, but I don't think it will help. NWC servers send to nip65 outbox.. not 10050 dm relays..
It is time for zaps 2.0 and NWC 2.0, using full nip17 as the transport.

Why is it a requirement? For the NWC? It allows auth with ephemeral keys and the idea was in the future when it gets spammed then the key acts as a rate limiter style helper.. (vs. just wide open relay). But ... Yeah, that future may never have arrived. Why even use auth at all?

eh, moving the amount, it breaks damus fyi. the thing is, the bolt is still in the public part of the zap, which i think is what amy uses. i dont want that but i need to fork my nwc provider to move it .. its tmi and isn't useful except for in a long shot for the zap receiver (wrapped)

RelayTools-android v1.0.8 released!
Changes:
Relay Set list integration and management (NIP51 30002)
Relay banner_image and icon now used in the relay-picker and set lists AND in the top UI bar.
UX morphed to match better android pattern expectations (bottom controls, top menu less cluttered).
Profile relay sources now configurable and searchable with NIP66.
Other minor fixes for rendering quoted images, replies to images and url rendering.
This is a warm-up release. The world has not changed, and the stability should remain the same as v1.0.7 which has been deployed since January. More soon.

that would take a massive amount of collusion on a global scale of all governments.. thats part of why bitcoin has stood up so well, is that it takes real energy and capital to attempt to take it over. those that 'work for the government' have a much easier time doing stock market insider trading than mucking around in small market cap btc and having to compete worldwide with others who are playing against them.

so, what is better than btc? i do agree that the scenario where as many people as possible have some, but im surrounded by people so far in debt that they use all inflows to service the debt or spend each month..
it has gotten to the point it does not matter really, btc is the most liquid thing that exists still, and barring being completly outlawed, people will use it as such. (which means spending it).
it is not in the interest of anyone, even large holders to manipulate the price to zero if it causes it to 'die off'

Hm, I tried it on mobile FF with nos2x-fox and it worked, and also on desktop FF same.. Is it possible your signer is stuck from too many reqs (this happens to me sometimes generally and I go clear them out)? It will ask for two things, getpubkey, and signature for 22242 login.
