The lack of Nostr retention tends to be like Fermi's Paradox, we all have a shitload of ideas.
My last one: we're boring fucks. We have second-hand bullshit ideas, from spirituality to crap life advice "because we're superior/botcoiners".

I joined the clay guild and went to their "clay church" Sunday morning gatherings for about 2 months when I first moved to town. I chose that guild because both the Makerspace manager and the clay guild leader told me that was the most social group with a Sunday meetup where they just laughed the whole time. I was super excited even though I don't know much about clay, I had fun getting my hands dirty and chatting with people in my new town.
It went super well for 2 months and I felt like I was making friends. Then one of the other higher ups in the Makerspace showed up one week (high school mean girl energy). The next day I got an email telling me I was no longer allowed to come on Sundays and I was welcome to go to the studio mid week when no one was there. Literally the explanation was that I "took up too much space" when I never even used a wheel and just stay in the corner away from the center of things to give the experts space.
Now they tell people that it was an additional paid class that I just randomly started crashing and that they gave me multiple warnings, which is absolutely untrue.
Anyways, sorry for the long post it hurt my feelings and had me feeling like I was back in middle school not allowed to sit at certain lunch tables. I guess technically I was only kicked out of that event, and then I cancelled my membership to the Makerspace on my own.
I still see that lady at events around town. The last one several people stood to say that I was building something super cool and useful wanting me to speak on it. She couldn't make eye contact 🤣

I am all in on Bitcoin. Financially, culturally, spiritually. A fight always brings risk. But if we don't fight for what we think its right, we loose. There is a segnificant degree of truth here. But I don't think we can characterize many of the deepest differences as merely trivial and fabricated.
Abortion, transing kids, the very essence and nature of manhood and womanhood, euthenasia, preferential treatment of foreigners over one's own countrymen, etc. These issues are a fundamental difference in how we view reality and there is little to no room for common ground on almost any of them.
Whether these things are all intentionally engineered to keep the commoners at one another's throats is a different matter that I am not necessarily contesting. Only saying that many of the biggest culture battles are not minor differences, they are deeply spiritual and foundational. Culture is cultus.
The King James Version Bible is beautiful, trustworthy, and challenging.
If you are unable to evaluate a translation, then the KJV is a great Bible translation to stick with.
At the same time, if you are unable to evaluate translations, then the chance of being able to thoroughly comprehend the KJV is low.
Personally, I use the ESV for every day Scripture reading. When verses, sections, chapters, and even books are difficult to understand, I fold in readings from the CSB and sometimes even the NLT. Both are optimal/functional equivalent translations that are literal when possible, but dynamic when necessary for low friction comprehension.
For deep study, I go in the opposite direction: the LSB for even more formal equivalence to the original manuscripts, and study bibles in ESV (Ligonier), KJV (Reformation Heritage), and CSB (Holman). A handbook (Ryken's) and a commentary (New Bible 21st) can really enhance the depth of your handle on the Scriptures.
Christians should learn how to navigate translations. Every single Bible, including the KJV, is a translation.

Yeah, that is extremely unintuitive, but at least we are allowed to think again. I can understand a universe with a dead cat, and a universe with an alive cat. Things aren't changing because I look their way. There are not "forbidden questions" in this explanation. It's not religion, it is science again.
In science we don't (or at least shouldn't) judge explanations by themselves. We are always comparing them. Which is the better of the explanations that we have? We go with the best one, and "There are many universes out there" is the best explanation we have.

Besides when I work on nostr, I don’t work on nostr because it’s the most technically stubborn and difficult to get to work correctly thing I’ve worked on.
Everything else just works. But the distributed nature of nostr makes it difficult to work with.
Yes, you can vibe an app in a prompt. But if you want something to work reliably, nostr always puts up a fight. In some ways it’s the opposite of what it promises.
Even the so called pro devs here cannot make something truly reliable. The moment I test it a bunch of stuff doesn’t work. And the typical response is: oh well you gotta turn this knob, pull that lever twice and then say a prayer while clapping turned away from the full moon.
But other than that it works when it works 😂

this is a complex and nuanced topic I don't have time for, but while I don't think it justifies political violence in any way, to suggest that it doesn't showcase the express use of extreme violence to protect your people from injustice, more specifically governments who do not uphold Natural rights.
