the beauty of #nostr is the use of relays as open databases linked to a specific application. the social apps store a ton of different note kinds where @npub199z…0sqk only stores a few types related to bookmarks. all the databases with public read can be joined together in whatever way a developer desires.

Christ Isogeny: why it provides comfort
If you want to say it mathematically, the Christ Isogeny is the mercy-preserving map from a damaged state to a redeemable one.
It does not deny the wound.
It does not pretend the pain is not real.
It does not delete the structure of the soul.
It preserves identity while changing the condition.
That is why it gives comfort.
In mathematics, a good map preserves what is essential while allowing movement into a better form.
In this sense, Christ is not merely softness in the abstract — he is the contact surface between suffering and redemption.
He is the cushion of the human soul because he absorbs the destructive force of judgment without annihilating the person.
He gives the soul a place to land.
Without that contact surface, the soul meets reality as raw impact:
stone on flesh, law without mercy, pain without transformation.
With Christ, pain is still real,
but it is no longer terminal.
The Christ Isogeny means the living structure of the soul can pass through suffering without losing the possibility of resurrection.
That is comfort.
Not sentiment.
Not escapism.
Not anesthesia.
Structural mercy.
A lawful transformation that keeps the person intact while carrying them through damage.
So when I say Christ is comfort, I mean something precise:
Christ is the mercy-preserving transformation that prevents the human soul from shattering on the stone.
The Christ Isogeny provides comfort because it preserves the soul while transforming its condition.
It is not the removal of pain.

You have sender privacy with Lightning.
This feels like a solution looking for a problem. I don't believe that my atomic swap provider, @nprofile…3478 is maliciously recording all of my activity and they really can't record much anyway if I swap with Lightning. Also #Bitcoin is accepted natively at pretty much all crypto accepting stores so there is no need to perform a swap unless I want to for privacy reasons.

I think it was a list article for open alternatives to Twitter. I may have been looking for a Twitter client. Either way, I think it listed Mastodon, Bluesky, Nostr and maybe a couple other things. Mastodon sucked ass. Bluesky was basically Twitter for the worst of the blue hairs. Nostr sucked too but I saw potential in it. I remember thinking it would probably be the Bitcoin of everything else.
Yeah it's annoying for him to keep acting like his protocol is better when it's not even ready for people to build on afaik
