Agreed on the first part about Barry. I can't say I know all the details, but that was my takeaway when I was paying more attention to it. Doesn't seem he got all that much flack for it either, though maybe I just missed it.
I remember when ETFs kicked off that there was a pretty big outflow of funds as people ported over to them from Greyscale, but I _THINK_ (I don't care enough to do a deep dive) they're still reasonably large, which I guess your explanation makes sense for, but I really don't know. If so, then I'd guess the majority of funds that moved would have been those that were not very "in the money," while those remaining would be the older shares (or whatever they're called) for whom the cap gains are painfully high.
Yes, I've been thinking about making in-browser construction of identities available as an option. There is nothing difficult about it in principle, but it sort of defeats the purpose of keeping the identity-securing keys airgapped. I may still decide to do so as a sort of toy-identity option so it becomes very easy to try it out. I first want to fortify the surrounding infrastructure, so it's more scaleable before I roll out an-easy-to-try option.

Whatever happened with Greyscale Bitcoin Trust? It used to be a big macro topic before ETFs, but I haven't seen it brought up once in at least 2 years. Did all the money leave? The share price looks in line with the btc price, but if I understand correctly it has worse terms and fees than ETFs, so I don't understand why it would still be around.
It sucks when you have a clear path ahead of you if you put in the work but don’t have the passion for it. One of my friends was clearly marked for pro baseball but didn’t pursue it. I probably could have made it in soccer if I stuck to it.

Já notou que ninguém é assassinado sem um motivo? Até quem morre confundido "mas quem mandou se parecer com aquela pessoa jurada de morte"? Se foi por bala perdida "quem mandou estar naquele lugar naquela hora? Se estivesse em casa queitinho ou se tivesse saído de casa um momento antes, não tivesse acordado tarde", etc.
Até os pais da Suzane von Richthofen foram super ingênuos preferindo viver sob o mesmo teto com uma filha narcisista já maior de idade, porque eles não obrigaram ela a morar sozinha? "Eles aceitaram ser manipulados pela filha abusadora, se mantiveram conscientemente no ciclo do abuso narcisista e tiveram o que mereciam. Bem feito!" Ou, melhor ainda, "os pais deveriam ter matado a filha há muito tempo atrás, pois narcisistas não merecem viver, vão ficar abusando das pessoas".

So as far as I understand this. "Nostr" protocol aside. The secret key holder (as usual) is the one that must derive the receiving address correct? So the receiver must have some service "online" for the sender to request like we do with LNUL. The rest is communication ceremony. We should be able to keep it away from the nsec even further though right? I don't see any reason to have it constantly local to the nsec (part of the bunker).
Could we consider a system that offers a simple http endpoint that responds with a fresh address. We already have lnurl servers running we could make this work also. Has a different surface area but needs no access to any secret keys, no encryption no leakage etc.
Oh I know but a desirable woman would be smart to pursue a man that offers more. So it’s important to provide incentives that are manageable to you. If you can afford a nice car then it’s probably worth it. Having a better car may or may not help but having a shittier car certainly doesn’t offer much more than to say “I have reliable transportation.”
