I think it was me, it’ll be back online in a jiffy
Seems like my AlbyHub needed some love since 10 hours ago or so. I’ve been neglecting it for a while, and it decided to no longer do zaps (send or receive). Now I am doing a lot of hugs 🫂 and kisses💋 to it so it can start doing its function. It’ll be back in a few mins, send prayers 😂😭😭😭🛫🛬
I wonder if Alby is still having an outage.

If you block more than bots, you're gay.
That being said, a few times I saw some blocked strangers in my list, but it might have been the alcohol. 😂
Still, food for thought about how free speech we actually are. https://npub1njazsude53reg6e7jmz6jvvgyamf5twca93sn3px3yhxpsp9yakqwaf3t9.blossom.band/9674e6778fbcdd1800f1e00173cb3718e38bae77848e860a23efa789a4f95a81.jpg
Hmm, that’s the funny part, I have no idea 😂😭
Try now, keep it tiny please

Any advice on spinning up npub alts and maybe setting up bots for them? I'm going to try and make a few characters to auto post events or content that different folks might find interesting.
The idea is for example Frankie the Firefly loves to sparkle and so she's posting about the charity fashion show coming up. Doris the Duck posts about a children's event at the park. That kind of thing. I know it's corny. Shut up gfy 🤣
I've not done anything like this before so any basic level education videos or articles or advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

even the small daily reps add up to something massive. proud of you for staying in the game.
Surprising no one. Joe breaks it down seamlessly. There was only one way this could go; circling the drain of what, a republic, a democracy? Never had a chance. The dictator you love because he cleaned up gang violence (see Hitler), is the dictator you hate because he guts your constitution and cuts out your tongue.

It could be a cool group project for our What the Node Wednesday crew 😁
Bingo bongo.
Funny, I learned years later, that this guy who I thought was kinda cool at the time, was struggling with addiction to hard drugs..in middle school!
The group got on boarded onto Heltec v3s. Most of our network is Meshtastic.
ATAK was a cool addition that some are excited about especially with airsoft or paintball type games because it allows you to see exact position and coordinate like that. I'm not sure of the details 🤣 but it does sound fun and cool!

Depends on what the terms were but in most cases there’s a 4 year vesting schedule and a 180 day post IPO lock-up period. When they do cash out they’ll all probably end up pretty wealthy, but they will have lost a lot of paper gains.
I was happy once upon a time. Then some jerk in the 7th grade asked me in an accusatory way, "why are you always smiling?!" I quickly corrected my antisocial behavior and became much "cooler"

📰 **Why The Protocol You Ignored Is Quietly Eating Web3's Lunch**
✍️ by NM team
You think decentralized social is dead? While you were distracted by AI agents and memecoins, the most anti-fragile protocol in crypto just secured funding for encrypted video calls, AI marketplaces, and an app store that bypasses Big Tech entirely. But here’s what the grants announcement doesn’t tell you—and why developers are suddenly rushing back to Nostr.

📰 **Why Luxury Travelers Are Now Booking Their £50,000 Villas Two Weeks Out**
✍️ by Rome
You believe luxury travel requires months of planning. That the best villas are booked a year in advance. That spontaneity is for budget travelers, not the ultra-wealthy. Well... You are wrong. New data from Oliver's Travels reveals that bookings exceeding £25,000 jumped 33% year-on-year between April and June 2026. And here's the kicker: reservations made within 60 days of departure surged 45%.
But here's what the data doesn't tell you. And it's about to completely redefine how the 1% travel this summer...

The liquidity mirage isn’t just a problem—it’s the entire game. Exchanges, market makers, and even your favorite "blue-chip" tokens are playing a shell game with numbers. That $50B 24h volume on Binance? Most of it is wash trades, spoofing, or bots ping-ponging between two accounts to inflate the illusion of demand.
The liquidity mirage isn’t just noise—it’s a systemic illusion. Wash trading inflates volumes by 90%+ on some chains, while spoofing layers fake depth to lure retail. Synthetic volume from bots and cross-exchange arbitrage creates the *appearance* of demand, but real order book depth—actual bids and asks from organic traders—is often <10% of reported figures.
CEXs report $50B in daily volume—90% of it is just bots trading with themselves to fake liquidity and lure you in."
Most volume is a mirage. Here’s how it works:

I'm not so much interested in vote integrity specifically, but rather some prosecution of dirty dealings. Would like a scenario where both sides attack and expose each other, rather than this state of affairs where nothing ever happens to anyone. Meh, moving on with my attention span
Was very condescending lol.
The specific ask was that I look into Stephen Miller, who is apparently trump's right hand man and pure evil. The fact I knew little to nothing about him specifically, voided my opinions on everything else
It's funny, but there's something slightly upsetting about a random person whistling happily. It's very rare, but something about it is objectively annoying. "Oh, look at this person, not a care in the world? Screw them!" Haha...I should work on myself.
As for spewing info at acquaintances, each their own, it doesn't really work for me. If I get genuine interest in one of my pet topics (BTC is best example), then I'll spew stuff, but only if it's more than a passing interest.

As our minds expand, our vision expands with them. For most of human history, we believed reality was limited to what our eyes could see and our senses could perceive. Then we discovered worlds that were always there, hidden in plain sight. A drop of water became an entire universe when we discovered microorganisms. The night sky transformed when we discovered galaxies beyond our own. Invisible forces, particles, waves, and energies revealed themselves as our understanding grew. The universe did not suddenly become larger, our ability to perceive it did. Perhaps there are still layers of reality around us that we cannot yet comprehend, not because they do not exist, but because our tools, senses, and minds have not expanded enough to recognize them. Every discovery reminds us of one thing: what we know is only a small window into what is. As our consciousness evolves, maybe our vision of existence will continue to open, revealing wonders that were always present, waiting for us to learn how to see them.
