I suppose it is due to the fact that with lightning we are sending hard money directly compared to fiat which is creating debt and transferring ownership of this debt to different parties as it flows through the system.
Crazy when you think about it.
Pretty sure cake wallet supports BCH as well, idk if you use that already or not but they have a built in swap that I'm sure you can swap from LN to BCH.
