My thesis is that the value primarily comes from demand for the utility as an MoE, and therefore it only functions as a long term store of value if that demand is sustained, which requires the utility to be preserved.

I wasn't aware of the gap from CPU to GPU mining in Bitcoin, only from GPU to ASIC way after I played with it. I might as well have mined on CPU. That old rig had the Radeon HD4870 paired with a hellish hot AMD Phenom II X4 940 BE. Although as you said not in 2009, since I was definitely on a pool.

I guess what I mean is, I already have a bunch of relays, and I use this one as my main "browsing" a feed type source, because yes it saves TONs of bandwidth and battery. I rarely use a client that assembles a feed, because it's just faster this way and I feel like it works just as well by offloading the construction of the feed to the relay. I've used nostr like this for a year+ now, I used to run this same setup on my raspberry PI and I liked it so much I decided to finally make it a service.

There's plenty of people who don't want to work. This isn't just immigration issue, it's result of promising free according to tribe. "We steal off the white people to give to you" was cover for politicians pillaging the nation, but many of the people believed the free. Depends on the client, I cant try nostur but Yea you can write to it, others can also tag you and write to it (it has personalized wot turned on by default for those direct posts but no filters for the feed itself, that depends on your own relay settings and your follow list). I don't use it as a main relay its not in my relay list, I only use it like a cache.

Imagine a forcefield bubble. Imagine it starting at the top of your head, and streaming out and up like you're a fountain, then spiraling around your body to come back into your feet. Once it's established you can make it more aggressive, like expand it out and zap bad energy away from you. Or you can get more creative, I like mine to be a honeysuckle covered gazebo.
