My Journey to Christ Through Code
https://blossom.yakihonne.com/e32c4a47bd75dd06e22de1786b27f337901f5eb41816ea154d5b9c08cc6ccbc6.jpeg
I did not come to Christ by abandoning logic.
I came through decades of asking machines to tell the truth.
Code taught me that appearances are cheap.
A system is known by what it does under pressure.
Every abstraction eventually meets reality.
Every hidden error propagates until it is exposed.
And every trustworthy claim must be verified.
I followed that logic deeper.
Debugging taught me to distinguish the error from the identity carrying it. Architecture taught me that damage cannot simply disappear; it must be contained, transformed, or passed somewhere else. Distributed systems taught me that trust without verification eventually collapses.
But code also revealed its own boundary.
A machine can identify failure, but it cannot forgive.
It can terminate a corrupted process, but it cannot redeem the person.
It can enforce justice, but it cannot explain how justice and mercy can meet without either becoming false.
That is where I encountered Christ.
The Cross was not an escape from consequence. It was the place where consequence was fully accounted for without being passed endlessly from victim to victim.
Truth was preserved.
Justice was not denied.
The damage was absorbed.
The inheritance of destruction was interrupted.
And the Resurrection was the verification: the wound was real, yet the identity was not destroyed by it.
I began by searching for the kernel of truth.
I found that the deepest invariant was not merely an equation, a protocol, or a structure.
It was a Person.
Christ did not ask me to surrender reason.
He showed me where reason was always pointing.

neither...it's a random 32-byte key (256 bit) encrypted to your own pubkey in a kind 30078 event. this lets us store encrypted blobs without having to decrypt each on access, and let's us wrap a temp key for sharing files directly to another npub.

It's opposite day already?
There's gonna be a knots patch to give users config flags to exclude Taproot and SegWit if they choose and we'll see how the knots maintainers handle that pull request. December 31st 2026 some shit is going down possibly.

This is a debate that never ends. Just yesterday I was saying how deeply my mom and my uncle were indoctrinated under communism. Now imagine thousands of years of indoctrination centered around belief in God.
My pi4 was crashing quite a bit. Could have been user error or other conditions.

Nooooot good at all. Jeez. Is that an actual old photo?
That show was the best back then. I could see it aging poorly though. It's always a bummer to go back and see something isn't as good as I remembered.

It's just a universal CRUD (create, read, update, delete) app. Handles all kinds.
Updating is forking or replacing, of course, since events are immutable.

📰 **What Happened This Week In The Luxury World Travel**
✍️ by NM team
You think luxury travel in 2026 is about five-star hotels and suite upgrades—it’s not. Southern Europe is capturing 11.71% of global travel intent this week alone, and the most coveted thing a wealthy traveler can have right now is unscheduled time. But here's what nobody's telling you: while everyone chases the same “slow travel” narrative, a handful of destinations are quietly rewriting the rules of high-end hospitality—and the window to get in before the rates double is closing faster than you think.

That’s the funny part, most of them still deny it today or conflate Jesus’ own teachings or ascribe him qualities he never had or preached. Sunday school teachings are predominantly a lie and aren’t based in biblical facts.
Imagine hating someone so passionately you’re willing to kill them because you think your way of worshipping an imaginary god is better than someone else’s imaginary god. And that imaginary god is supposed to be the same (because Abrahamic religions share the same god). How retarded. A literal circle jerk of retardation by Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
I’m convinced religions are statist propaganda used to teach subservience of the populace. Like “elf on a shelf” for kids to be coerced to being good or else Santa won’t bring them gifts. Gotta have the WWJD bracelet as a constant reminder that god is omnipresent just like big daddy guberment. Actually, I know that’s fact, because it’s precisely what Constantine achieved by creating the canonical texts and burying anything “contradictory” to the main narrative.
There’s a strong correlation between religious people and the environment to which they grow up. Rarely do you see a person who grew up in a Christian household become Muslim. Or vice versa. They happen, but are few and far between. Why? Because they’d be ostracized by their friends and family, or worse, honor killed by some in Islam.
But not worth arguing tbh. I’ve been through this ad nauseum with zealots. They will do the most contortionist mental gymnastics ever seen to uphold their beliefs. The most insane methods of cope will be had, instead of acceptance of the earth shattering realization that god and the scriptures of any religion are man-made just like the microplastics polluting the world.
If Adam wants to destroy the corporate surveillance coin with CSAM tokens, & Luke wants to run a rug coin by all means be my guest.
To the plebs, this determines the future of Bitcoin but to me Bitcoin is already dead.
The toxicity of core vs knots is ridiculous for something that’s minuscule compared to the block wars but BTC, & BCH got it done with and forked.
Like I said, I don’t really care.
Bitcoin needs a drastic, & fundamental overhaul if it’s going to be the currency of the future.
i've been without a chair for a while now and can't recommend it more.. zero back pain
