Die Revolution ist Langweilig
Wenn du an Revolution denkst,
dann hast du’s meist eilig,
die Macht an sich reißen,
könnte sich beißen,
mit der pazifistischen Idee,
meiner Revolution,

statt Arbeiter-Klon,
denn wer im Hamsterrad steckt,
denkt dass schneller Laufen,
der einzige Weg sei,
nicht zu ersaufen.
Doch der Pegel steigt stetig,
3% pro Jahr,
Solang's nur die Füße sind,
droht keine Gefahr,
Dann wenn es schon bis zu den Knien steht,
Und das rennende Rad immer schwerer geht,
Realisierst du, dass dir die Zeit jetzt fehlt,
Um ne Arche zu bauen die die Flut übersteht.
Ich hingegen,
Ich hatt es nie eilig,
Mein Rad hat nie wirklich zu laufen begonnen,
Du belächeltest mich vor der Zentralbank beim sonnen,
Sagtest auch ich solle arbeiten gehn,
Mit dir Runde um Runde
im Hamsterrad drehn,
Ich hingegen bat Dir meinen Schoß,
Zu zweit baut es sich besser an einem Floß,
Doch im steigenden Pegel sahst du kein Problem,
damals bedeckte das Wasser nicht mal die Zehen,
und ich, ich gab dir bestimmt zu verstehn,
ich wolle mich weiter dem Floß widmen gehn.
Lang lang ist’s her,
seitdem wir uns haben gesehn,
Einige Jahre, fünfzig oder zehn?
Doch was ist in der Zeit dazwischen geschehn?
Ich sammelte eifrig Reisig,
Wenn auch erst alleinig,
Und aus Floß, wurde Boot, wurde Schiff, wurde Yacht.
Es war nicht einfach, doch ich hab es vollbracht.
Und du rettetest dich vorm ersaufen mit letzter Kraft,
an den orangenen Ring meiner schwimmenden Yacht,
Kletterst hinauf und erkennst ganz geschafft,
Das ist doch der Typ, den ich habe belacht.
Ich lächle sanft und geschmeidig:
Hier sind wir uns doch wieder einig.
Die Revolution war am Ende lang-weilig.

They become directly reachable from the internet, that is true, but that is also true for any device that has a static ip, security depends on the FIPS shim and exposed ports on the device. I think it's a tradeoff worth making though. Since that also means your devices are reachable by you from anywhere in the world, and with some good firewall management that could be made even more secure/useful.

i would have to look at speech patterns from SS, but a lot of people, ask questions like this, as a statement. His typos also leave a lot of room for interpretation.
His response "thanks for the heads up" also indicates that he is aware JE answered his statement as it were a question "is he one of us".

The main difference between #Cordn and #Concord is that Cordn is based upon MLS and therefore has a coordinator server and forward secrecy, while Concord is client-relay-client.
Concord is not as secret (if the key leaks, everyone can read everything from that epoch, and keys aren't associated with devices, so they're easy to share with people outside the group), but it's able to handle larger groups with less overhead, and you don't need to run a server. (You don't need to run one with Cordn, either, as you can use existing coordinators, but there are more relays than coordinators.)
Concord seems to be aiming more at the Discord market, and Cordn is aiming more at Signal. I am going to implement Cordn in my Imwald Android app once it's a bit more mature and just not bother ever implementing DMs (since 2 people in a Cordn room is effectively the same as a DM).
