For me it's @nprofile…wywf, but I do like dark wisp and taco home as well.
Thats a new meme by me I hadn't recognized...
The sky was blue a few days ago. Canada just heard I had a cold and was like HERE THIS MASSIVE CLOUD OF SMOKE WILL MAKE YOUR LUNGS FEEL BETTER.
Sorry, I forgot my Mexican filter on...
Check outside again Vitor. The sky is clearly Sepia.
The reaction without p-tags was one of them... On my side, I need to show channels in a more interesting way.
That's a great band but idk what they have to do with the nostr.
No but we occasionally "kink why?"
Its on the main branch already, but I need to solve some kinks
I think I actually learned this from StoryBots.
Wait until you get all the invalid Concord wraps.
Is this something we should ask @nprofile…vhl6 about? Push him toward? Insist he make happen? 🤭🤭
AI made me dumber, because it made everyone else smarter.
Me, before and after interacting with an AI...

Apologies to Dick Pick... I couldn't help myself. He is the absolute goat, microcoding directly on TTL *and fucking providing that as an option in the OS*. Sometimes my adolescent self/humor comes through... It was on a Corndalerian thread, though, so I get a pass, I figure.

I think I've found a bug... Is there a limit in size? Cause this image was somehow cropped when I shared it. https://blossom.primal.net/b0142e14bba491de9ab9dffee17436a8042628f72f284d470ad6f4d66fa99184.jpg

Todos entienden acá como configurar una dirección lightning??
I haven't had time to consolidate the Spanish versions... But.
It's enough for you to update the base Spanish file. The others are just for regional overrides.
So the base Spanish file should be on 100% translated and the others should be mainly empty.
If a user has selected Spanish, Mexico in UI.. And a string isn't translated in the Mexico version then it will fall back to the translation in base Spanish file.
That's the way i18n and Crowdin works. No need to chase regional files to be 100%. Will that help?
If you want to take this seriously and to the next level, you need to tell me why would I follow them... Like follow this to her more Linux content. Follow that to get more interesting takes about the world cup. Follow this other one to see more memes. Follow your brother to see more family pictures you are in... Etc..
Ohhh Discover didnt work for me.. But I just realized that it takes about 10 seconds to load.
Results are fine... It's the people are know are on Nostr because my follows keep retweeting them... So the feeling is like.. more of the same. Similar to the old DVM algorithms. If I wanted to follow them I would have already done so.
+ A lot of corporate accounts (Damus, primal, Bitcoin magazine, Blockstream, ....) I definitely don't want to follow
+ A lot of very old accounts that are not active on Nostr anymore since... Years.. The like The Nostr Report.
That's the thing with Recommendations that to me algos are not good enough. Its not recommending anyone interesting that I have not already decided to not follow.
Looks ok. That algo seems to work well for direct follows, but if I search for people in my larger network sometimes they don't show up. Like.. if I search for Vitor, I see 3 out of 4 of my accounts and 4 out of the ~10 other Vitor's I know on Nostr.
Plus I see a lot more impersonators/scammers in the Relevent algo than your normal one... I am not sure why.
I was talking about that with David a few days ago, my larger WoT network (follows of follows of follows...) has about 1M profiles if the crawler follows outbox. If the crawler is just based on a fixed relay set, it drops to about 150-000 to 300,000 profiles.
Also, no typo correction algorithm (Victor -> Vitor) so search is less effective.. People never remember how to spell the user's name.
Could work as well. To me this is all about figuring out what types of endpoints cannot be run locally and cannot be solved via the usual nip85/nip50 routes that we have great caching for already.
For Ubuntu, @nprofile…94k8 is working on a full desktop version of Amethyst
Not sure if laptops running Ubuntu count, but that's awesome! Thanks for your service!
Getting ready for Android laptops...

It's the easiest way to make a billion dollar company.
Search will always be NIP-50 because of the other filter options.. I can search on comments of a thread, for instance. Only on a hashtag, only in some id set that I have... Etc,
Recommendations is more interesting, but we need to have better algos and more interesting inputs. Blind recommendations without asking what type of users or posts the account is looking for doesn't work. It's just a feels good feature that nobody actually uses. Or a way to centralize the network even further around the already the big accounts.
I think people severely underestimate how much money is available to buy datasets from any company. VCs, goverments (international), ad platforms, credit agencies, insurances... Everybody wants everything they can get on you. It's quite literally a founder playbook.
These days any company can call one of Palantir's proxies and secure themselves a great deal for their data.
