Oui, le logiciel s'appelle LG OnScreen Control Plus. Il s'exécute silencieusement en arrière-plan. Il suit quelles applications vous utilisez, quand vous les utilisez et pendant combien de temps. Il communique avec les serveurs de LG. Il ne peut pas être désinstallé par des moyens normaux sans laisser de traces dans le registre.
Les gamers l'ont remarqué parce que certains systèmes anti-triche l'ont signalé comme un logiciel suspect. Le moniteur faisait bannir les gens des jeux.
Maintenant, côté TV :
LG a également mis à jour ses conditions d'utilisation de webOS. Si vous utilisez les fonctionnalités vocales IA sur votre TV LG, l'entreprise dit que vous devrez peut-être informer les invités chez vous que les conversations pourraient être enregistrées.
Pas LG qui informe vos invités.
Vous. Le propriétaire. Légalement responsable d'avertir quiconque entre dans votre salon que la télévision écoute.
LG a construit un appareil de surveillance. L'a vendu à vous. Et a fait de la divulgation votre problème légal.
Donc, pour résumer ce que LG a lancé cette année :
Un moniteur qui installe un logiciel de suivi sur votre PC sans demander.
Une TV qui enregistre les conversations chez vous et vous oblige à avertir vos invités.
Les deux appareils ressemblent exactement à un moniteur et à une TV.
Aucun des deux ne vous dit ce qu'il est vraiment au moment de l'achat.
Vous l'avez découvert quand votre jeu vous a banni.

The Trump administration is preparing to fund pro-MAGA projects abroad through State Department grants, Financial Times reports, citing department documents.
$2 million would go toward projects fighting what Washington calls EU censorship rules, while another $5 million is earmarked for initiatives promoting free speech, political competition and national sovereignty in Europe. Organizations in Eastern Europe and the Balkans could also receive funding, along with projects tied to Brazil and South Africa.
The largest single grant on offer, $40 million, would go to the "Victims of Communism Memorial Fund."
so the instances in the image, the remote server is just a go binary with the FIPS systemd services running in the background...not much had to be done in the blossom server itself. the connected backup server is running on a local machine via a docker compose image that embeds the FIPS binary and sets the nsec to the server's instance nsec.
