the only things holding me back were 1) i realized i needed my own git server ✅(installed self hosted gitlab) and 2) i realized i needed a special relay for GRASP ✅(now supporting pyramid) and 3) now i have them im wondering what exactly will using ngit give me.. I'm in complete agreement that no one can unilaterally overrule anything in Bitcoin. If one developer or one special interest group gained a monopoly over the whole thing, that would not be Bitcoin. We don't have that problem with Core or Knots. They are open source, in an inescapably free market. The migration of market share from Core to Knots proves the lack of monopoly. What happens when you believe you do have monopoly power over Bitcoin is you FAFO. That is what is happening to Big Bitcoin. It's as simple as that.
