It’s such a memorable song that it randomly pops into my head all throughout my life. Humbled to see you on nostr 🙇♂️
Great work! Keep it up hon!!! 🥰

Everyone keeps asking me and I have now taken the time out to research it. 😊

I like helium. Messy supply chain, diversification desire with Hormuz. Energy, commodities and scarcity my current focus of interest but I've got no skin in the game. Buildingy tools for when I have a little dry powder. Uranium is a good option too for energy play
Even when you figure it out, you realize it was not as brilliant as the guy writing it thought it was.
Folks, SpaceX is not Homestead from Passengers 😆
We’re very far from settling other planets or mining asteroids.

I'm slow sometimes. Plus, I don't think those are generally interesting to check out. Saw it on jumble, where it displays in replies, not just on profile
Me too. There are also new revelations about Saylor and Epstein from the files.
Surely that's a typo and you meant the "wurst", as in he da best sausage.
💯 and that's the point! A weekly reminder to charge up the devices and check in to build our regional connections.
Someone went up in a hot air balloon earlier this week and our maps got populated with nodes up and down the eastern seaboard it was WILD! I think I need to work with some hot air balloon places to just hang a solar node on their basket or something because that was magical.
Jason published an article on Twitter.
TLDR (with Claude):
TLDR: Jason (the author) is neutral on BIP-110 but wants miners to have accurate info before deciding. Key points:
BIP-110 is not inevitable and could fail — it currently has weak support: only ~7-15% of nodes signal for it, and just ~0.6% of blocks over the last 60 days have signaled support.
This is much weaker than Segwit's UASF had (which started with ~1/3 of hashrate already on board), so comparisons to Segwit's activation don't hold up.
Nearly all major mining pools he monitors are still running non-BIP110 clients (Core v30/v31), with no sign they're preparing to switch.
He pushes back on common pro-BIP110 talking points: that miners have "no incentive to signal early," that opposing it is like trying to cancel a halving (soft fork vs. hard fork — not comparable), that not upgrading makes you "insecure," and that CSAM concerns are a decisive argument (he says arbitrary data can end up on either chain regardless).
His advice: signal only if you genuinely support it, don't signal if you don't/don't care, and closely monitor major pools' behavior around block 961632 to see which chain has the real hashrate — then follow the heaviest chain.
His personal estimate: less than 5% chance BIP-110 succeeds, and he calls that generous.
Bottom line message: don't get pressured by hype from either side — look at the actual data and decide what's best for your own mining operation.
Because of this Mechanic got pissed, and he was removed.
Good morning Nostr 🌞🥰🌞
Algorithmic social media is at large scale implementing MKUltra brainwashing on the population. They don't need to put you in a dark room on acid telling you your parents/neighbors/cute members of the opposite sex hate you repeatedly until you believe it. Now you voluntarily stare into their black mirror and do that to yourself.
In psy-gym and other parapsychic institutions, one of the best ways to tell if the guidance you're receiving from the other side is good or bad is that you know them by their fruit. Good guys remind you that you are loved and ask you to stay sober and drink more water etc. Bad guys tell you no one loves you and you are all alone and nothing can help you.
Be careful who you let into your mind, you are more powerful than you know. 🤗

Depends of what substitutes there are and how much one prepared. Often taking high risks is unneeded and simply stupid.
Crazy times we live in. By the way, Jason is very much smart and skilled.
People have lost the plot.

Inkan separates your identity from your signing key.
If the signing key is leaked or lost, revoke it. Switch to a new one. Same identity. Same followers. New signing key.

Let me know any questions.
Yes. I think that you have to accept that Bitcoin is fixed supply, and go down with the ship if it is going to sink.
If you think a coin needs tail emission to be viable long term, then switch coins or make a new one.
FINISH HIM! 🤣

Every time I see a new “explosive diarrhea outbreak” headline, I get this radical idea that farmers should probably stop putting human feces on fresh produce. Call me crazy 🤷♂️

Hon why you coming in here hating, be nice 😂
Philosophy is cool and all, but if the hashrate falls to very low values in the future, we're going to have to be pragmatic about the security budget
I love the idea of Ark as a 'Channel Factory', allowing billions to have fully sovereign Lightning nodes. However, if Ark is *too* efficient in this case, then a typical block might have only one transaction!
(By the way, that's partly why I'm currently against CTV; I want Ark, but I don't want it to be *too* scalable; I want many medium-sized Arks, not one mega-Ark)
On balance, I think it'll all be fine and there won't be a problem with the security budget. But there could be a problem, and that problem could eventually be fatal. So I like to think about it
The article discusses Runes, but I think it dismisses them too quickly. The Lightning network could be extended to fully support Runes (no soft fork required), and it's possible (but admittedly, very unlikely) that one of the Runes becomes very valuable. As many Runes 'currencies' have tail emissions, it's possible that they could provide the right incentives to miners
Anyway, there's always 'demurrage', a soft fork to apply a tax on old UTXOs, which would motivate people to move their coins more often and create. The rule could be that, when spending a UTXO older than X years, at least Y% of the outputs must be anyone-can-spend outputs that are locked to a few years in the future. Such outputs are equivalent to the block subsidy in practice
And I didn't even tell the whole story. 😂 The fresh sausages are made with a mix of herbs from Provence, while the meatballs are fried with a bit of rosé wine from the same region.
And the sky…is a hazy shade of summer.
It's truly amazing how many people will show up on social media to tell you taking a moment to focus your own mental health and personal growth is a bad idea, not worth it, and they couldn't be bothered.
