In my case, I’m a power user with nothing else better to do than post on Nostr all day.
I’m sure there’s spam bots that react to what the human network is talking about, in my circle I’ve noticed a lot of former Bitcoiners talk about M*nero more now.

Exactly. And the idea that a seed is something you are handling frequently enough that a checksum is worth it is wrong too. A seed should be something you do once, secure for disaster recovery, and barely ever touch again. We should stop thinking of a seed as a wallet and start thinking of it as an identity. Ideally, one per person for life

My thought with the dollars is that settlement is slow with fiat -- especially when it's not being sent by fedwire.
But yes, we do have some nightmare infrastructure vulnerabilities that I imagine we'll all get to learn about over the next few years as it stops being concern that nation state adversaries will exploit them and turns into concerns that a guy with a laptop and access to an open source open weight model can attack them.
What we forget is that most of our adversaries don't actually want us to collapse. America needs China for manufacturing. China doesn't want its treasury stockpile devalued as it's economy would collapse hard. NK arguably is the loosest cannon but China keeps them on a short leash.

It also doesn't entail trusting dice manufacturers.
I do think it's probably overkill for a 256 bit key. But with this method you can give yourself certainty with very low cost.

Sure, that's one way of looking at it. The supremacists are empty people with no skills, no genetic superiority, no labour, no resources, nothing. They'll wipe themselves out, by themselves.
That's why we don't bother as much with Nostr anymore. We see 100s of examples of pelle who've awakened outside this little Bubble.
