The car has a touchscreen for the heat now.
Cold hands reach past the steering wheel, tap a glowing menu, wait for the right icon, slide a digital bar, and hope the road stays polite while the cabin warms up.
A knob could do the same job by feel.
The screen made winter require eye contact.

Every time I see the tate brothers i can’t help but go damn those guys look like they are closeted gays still and they just need to come out already…
Look at this graph. What do you see?
When does the use of large OP_RETURN outputs suddenly explode, and what changed at that point? The answer is right there.
Do you really think it’s just a coincidence that, from late 2014 until early 2024, OP_RETURN usage remained almost perfectly capped? Or is it because that limit was actually enforced by Bitcoin’s standard policy, until Peter Todd collaborated with a large mining pool and modified Bitcoin Core to produce the kind of large OP_RETURN usage that was later used to argue for removing the practical restriction?
Your initial, “uneducated” instinct was actually pointing in the right direction. What changed was that people with a direct financial incentive to expand this new use of Bitcoin successfully convinced many (including you) that large OP_RETURNs were somehow inevitable, and that opposing them amounted to censorship. This policy is now defended and any attempts to reverse it with a policy change were shut down - hence the need for BIP-110.
A protocol should do the job it was designed to do. Imagine your coffee machine. It makes coffee perfectly for years. Then, after every five or six cups, it suddenly dispenses a cup of hot brown water instead. You’d assume something was wrong and have it repaired.
Now imagine the repair technician tells you, “That’s normal. Some customers actually like the brown water because they say it helps them detox. Since some people use it that way, we have a new policy of not accepting such claims anymore.”
You’d think the technician was insane. You’d probably take your coffee machine to a different repair shop.
That’s essentially what happened here. Luke proposed a fix intended to restore the previous behavior, and it was rejected using the same line of reasoning: that preserving the existing standard policy would somehow constitute censorship, rather than maintaining the software’s intended behavior.
Essentially a problem was created to sell you a solution that actually made the problem worse. Exactly as a government body would operate. People call this a psyop and you’re unwilling, clueless participant.

🟢 CUDA: NVIDIA's Hidden Moat 💻
Why NVIDIA is so hard to dislodge from AI:
🔧 What CUDA solved
→ CPUs process tasks sequentially — too slow for AI
→ GPUs have thousands of parallel cores — but were hard to program
→ CUDA turned GPUs from graphics chips into general-purpose AI accelerators
📦 The CUDA Stack (bottom to top)
→ Hardware — NVIDIA GPUs
→ CUDA Runtime — manages kernels, memory & execution
→ Libraries — cuDNN, cuBLAS, NCCL, TensorRT
→ Frameworks — PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX
→ Applications — AI, simulation, robotics, enterprise
🏰 Why It Became a Moat
→ 20+ years of developer adoption
→ Deep library ecosystem impossible to replicate quickly
→ Optimised AI performance baked into every layer
→ Switching costs — teams, tools & infrastructure all CUDA-dependent
→ Most AI developers touch CUDA indirectly through PyTorch/TensorFlow
⚡ Where CUDA Shows Up
→ AI training, inference, HPC, robotics, graphics rendering
⚠ Reality Check
→ CUDA is vendor-locked to NVIDIA
→ Alternatives exist (ROCm, OpenCL) but lack ecosystem depth
→ CUDA = the city transportation system for compute
→ Moat = tools + talent + performance
NVDA > $4trillion in mcap - not becos of technical reasons only.

I don’t know why?
Why are you late?
I don't think it's about network share. Those are empty numbers that can be manipulated. It's about economically relevant nodes that originate high volumes of transactions (e.g. exchanges, swap services, etc...). If none of those entites are signaling BIP-110, the miners can't be bothered to care. After user activation, BIP-110 will immediately drop in hash rate and transactions will take hours or days to confirm at a safe depth. It will die so fast, and so many of these amatuer outrage-addicts are going to be even more confused and angry than they already are.
There's a lot of envy fueled hatred out there.

‚No it isn‘t?‘ Explain please. I do not see where I proved your point. We are talking about BIP110 and even that weirdo-bip changes it‘s reasoning weekly it is about spam/arbitary data.
Tweets and videos are recognized and known - I hated that too and first was emotionally reacting with ‚WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!‘ Mike in Space, Casey or Udi coming to mind.
Then I learned these ppl are trolling IN CONSENSUS and I with my at that time uneducated opinion am out of consens.
You kind of say it yourself: you would like to stop these inscribiots from using bitcoin. Stopping a bitcoin transaction. Changing consens... Come on. Exactly what the FEDs want us to do.
Not sure where specifically Lopp, Back and Saylor used it but you might enlighten me. If so: The Lopps, Andies and Saylors could AND DID use bigger op-returns already with or without core reacting with relay-changes. Before Core v30. You know that. Right?
I'm scatterbrained by nature. I'm really prone to piling up lots of projects in mixed states of partially done.
Slowing down and really focusing on the current task, proper execution with all the details completed really improves my mental state. Also the more I improve my mental state the easier it is to slow down and focus on one task at a time. It is a virtuous cycle. It's kind of amazing how much much gets done by slowing down.
GM! ☀️
This can’t possibly be right, can it?

By "postmodern wisdom" I mean a broad spectrum of intellectual stuff, with particular complexity, that was produced during the ending, so-called, postmodern epoch (not necessarily the particular -ism called "Postmodernism").
I mean Mark Passio for example; I noticed that his Natural Law recontextualization and Anarchist-ish points in particular are circulating here occasionally:
https://youtu.be/ChgCh2Gui5M
Say something just a bit diverging from his views here—and somebody might hallucinate some kind of state-satanic agency in you. Or just a deluded New Ager.
It'll take time and effort to clarify all this; hopefully without finding myself lost in ideological debates. I hope to speak about that on my video channel at some point, not in messages/articles.
I wish there were somebody from #metamodernism who could do that much better than me. Where are you, Daniel Görtz and others?—Building the future on legacy social media for some reason :(
