True. With chrome similar as with Android I have more fear, that Google is willing to develop users into vendor lock-ins.
So for me there is kind of the question for me: Do I trust more into Google or Mozilla, to develop usercentric software.
And I personally tend more towards Mozilla in this question. Since they offer very easy tinkering through userscripts with their browser.
Almost all settings can be disabled through a userscript. I use Arkenfox userscript to change Firefoxs configuration.
This is something chromium is not offering in a similar way.
Also Firefox seems to offer more privacy-focus than chromium does it out of the box.

1. Can you expand more on why you don’t like it?
2. Is the mirroring a client or server responsibility?
3. I was wondering about failover. If most clients don’t support it, then what’s the point right.
Appreciate your answers so far. 🫂
I just got an email by a client from the UK. In his signature there was a proud statement that company X is now carbon neutral and that they plant 11 trees for every 10 they use. Didn’t know you can measure tree usage, but I expect in future cars we will measure our mileage with trees per km rather than gasoline. 🤦♂️ I hate this timeline. So fucking ridiculous.

Good morning CKMe! Comfrey is so useful, great job growing it! 🥰
People are getting extremely purist about AI, especially the ones not doing the work to learn it and integrate it into their work flows. They've got to maintain their edge somehow so just shitting on AI is now their bit I guess 🙄

By "postmodern wisdom" I mean a broad spectrum of intellectual stuff, with particular complexity, that was produced during the ending, so-called, postmodern epoch (not necessarily the particular -ism called "Postmodernism").
I mean Mark Passio for example; I noticed that his Natural Law recontextualization and Anarchist-ish points in particular are circulating here occasionally:
https://youtu.be/ChgCh2Gui5M
Say something just a bit diverging from his views here—and somebody might hallucinate some kind of state-satanic agency in you. Or just a deluded New Ager.
It'll take time and effort to clarify all this; hopefully without finding myself lost in ideological debates. I hope to speak about that on my video channel at some point, not in messages/articles.
I wish there were somebody from #metamodernism who could do that much better than me. Where are you, Daniel Görtz and others?—Building the future on legacy social media for some reason :(
I’d rather be paid in Swiss Francs than Bitcoin.
Routing 75 BTC per month on 61 BTC deployed? That does not seem particularly significant 🤔
The freezing point actually matters in a practical way, tho, for everyone. Nothing happens at 100°F.
There is no noticeable difference between 98°F and 100°F. Nothing actually changes; it just gets another digit and the weather prediction maps suddenly get doused in blood.
Have never had a good experience using Cashu. Tried a few times but not worth it imo.
1. I have one, we already back up to other sources so I don’t worry. In fact I don’t like using blossom at all
2. By design it supposed to mirror to the other server(s)
3. I don’t think most clients support failover or will for the normal folks on the web or on other sites that may have access to the posts.

Then you can simply use a firefox fork, that has those things disabled. Mullbrowser, LibreWolf or similar are still based on the good work of Firefox and Tor browser. But disable telemetry.
This is the beauty of free software. People and other project can just fork a project and use it differently.
