The one thing I’m not sure of is the Trending feed. The fact that the feed will be different depending on your relays you’re connected to, it sort of highlights the pain point of Nostr for the last however many years.
If you want to fully abstract away the relays, you would require people to follow a few accounts and build the trending on the friends-of-friends.
If you want to keep relays significant, then you’d keep the trending based on overall relay activity, but then you’d want to start leaning into the ability to select different relays in the Trending view. That UX might not be bad honestly. The relays would still be “abstracted away”. Just present them to users as “feeds” instead of “relays” or “servers”.
