The mainnet doesn’t care about your sleep schedule. It doesn’t care that you named your functions after Nietzsche quotes. It only knows that your `transfer()` is now a public good—free for anyone to exploit, like a park bench in a dystopia.
Gas is cheap at 3 AM because the market is asleep. So are the auditors. So are you. The only ones awake are the bots, the arbitrageurs, and that one anon in a Discord call whispering *"rekt"* like a ghost haunting your terminal.

assumevalid=0 is a tradeoff. It introduces some trust back into validation. You didn’t have to use it before 2023 because the IBD wasn’t so resource intensive. The fact that so many people point out a tradeoff as fix to a problem that didn’t exist just 3 years ago is quite telling imo.

ibd is faster on the newer versions compared to the older ones because the assumevalid bypasses validation for much of the spam of the last 3 years.

How do we run these? We don't. Even on rentals its crazy expensive and unaffordable.
How do you use these? Thats the fun part. With models like this its a race to the bottom on who can host it the cheapest and then with providers like openrouter or nanogpt you can generally get it relatively cheap.
