I love informational realism and the material-semiotic approach. They have important differences, but both schools of thought try to understand reality itself, including how we perceive reality, how we obtain information, and how we create meaning from it as fundamental parts of reality. Human consciousness cannot be separated from the nature of reality, because as humans we are trapped within our own consciousness. Reality and our perception of it can never be fully separated, just as the information processing within our minds can never be separated from the world we are trying to understand. In the end, how we assign meaning to things is a fundamental part of reality itself.

The Nostr-based community concept is really starting to take form. Every day, there's some new thing or idea or indicator that I read about, try, discuss, that makes me even more sure that this is one of the right directions.
Today was ripe with those moments. I really appreciate everyone who's enabled this Spatia-Arcana experiment and everyone who's contributed to making it something worth showing off... and all the brainstorming, teaching opportunies, and learning opportunities that have come along with it. 💜

Lots of box caterpillars around again this spring. The ones in the ground were hit bad last year and I have been trying to get them to recover, but it's a bit of an up hill struggle as the soil there sucks and there isn't a lot of it. Yet again the one in the pot that I planted and has had biochar, local microbes from imos and EM from the start is doing great. I should really do a brix reading but I keep forgetting to bring the meter 🤷♂️

I found every color of jasper under the sun, some very nice agates. and most interestingly, basalt with calcified letters and numbers on it. It was my most unexpected find of the day.
