Everything has energy cost. Old internet replaced that with identity and privacy cost. A return to energy cost is natural path. People are realising "free" is a misnomer. The question will simply be what actually has true value that is worth the cost. Is that such a bad paradigm?

Oh that sounds sweet. I knew an army would rise against the Elon forces eventually.
You can upload massive text files and it will scan though them. Thousands of pages. But yeah having a few thousand hours worth of project related discussion available as searchable context is incredibly powerful. Up until now if you wanted it to remember something across chat threads you had to prompt it to commit a note to its saved context memory and that memory was very limited.
Just today I was like "I had you make me this script a while back that does XYZ, but I don't remember what it was named or where I placed it on my PC."
It thought for a few seconds and said "The script we created is makeLifeEasierBecauseYoureLazy.sh and you saved it in ~/place/where/I/suggested/" and that was something I hadn't worked on in a couple months.

This is interesting. Basically all your chat history is part of the context window. Do you know if you can feed it a user manual for example (with hundreds of pages) and it could search through it? Gemini has this (search through hundreds of pages) and it’s pretty useful

kind 3 is a follower's WHOLE contact list, republished with a fresh created_at
every time they edit anything — so it can never be read as "when they followed
you". The guard against that clamped each follower's notification time with
`seenNotif.last`… which renderNotifications resets to NOW on every view of the
tab. So Math.min(created_at, now) === created_at for any past event and the
clamp silently became a no-op after the first render, letting every re-saved
contact list float back to the top as a brand-new "followed you". This is the
bug that was fixed in 7fad5658 and lost again in the ab1e2cb9 revert.
