Bip-110 is grassroots. The direction of Core is endorsed by corporate suits and shitcoiners. It's up to you who you want to associate with, but I don't care for the nihilistic rhetoric coming from the Core supporters. The people against them are acting with conviction in their principles. I'm sticking with the bitcoiners who are still passionate about the original mission rather than the ones who show ambivalence towards corporate capture and mission drift.

The only thing they influence is a GitHub repo. All of their money and influence will be for naught unless they can continue their campaign of convincing everyone to continue running Core, against which there is a growing grassroots campaign.

Watch what they do not what they say. There's never corporate funding that doesn't have strings attached. Notice they say they will offer education as well as funding. So they claim not to be taking a position of influence but they will do just that in the form of suggestions that are not to be disregarded. The funding will continue to flow to whomever implements their suggestions.
