I also think that a magazine or a blog makes for a better reading experience than a chronological feed in the case of essays, and this preserves the categories and reading order regardless of edits and tags. It doesn’t require any matching hashtags, which are often used to sort articles and impose structure.
Also, it has syndication built in. It’s not limited to one author, and you can include a guest essay in any category, or even include a category that someone else is curating.
Looking at this and I just can't shake the feeling that humans would eventually use this for war purpose.

Don't even need to coordinate with the government. They are publicly baiting governments into banning it and these retard Indians fell for the bait. Every shitty protest in the world, (some straight up CIA ops), they bot a little activity into that geohash, then hit up all their journalist connects who report "protestors in ___ coordinating on bitchat" then they go out and proclaim "governments are falling because of our app" to bait governments to push back against it.
It has nothing to do with nostr. It might generate keypairs, but there is no persistent identity that that keypair enables, they don't even verify signatures. It trusts the relays and other users to only send them valid events. The one cool feature is the mesh messaging, but that hasn't been used anywhere except bitcoin conferences.
